Strange. I've never once failed a tame dragon attempt... Albeit, I've only played Targs pre-RR so...

If you're not a targ, it would be much more difficult.
Be sure to visit KL, the Citadel, Dragonstone and Summehall.

How are you supposed to visit these places? Lead an army to the correct county? do a personal interation with the owner of the holding? conquer and move your captial there? maybe there's a visit button i've been missing.

Dunno, I've never done it. All my playings are about getting rid of dragon riders, Targs and Lannisters as much and as soon as possible.

Raise an army at the province and set your leader as the commander, or walk the army to said province if you don't own it. Camp out and wait for the event to trigger.

Cheers. Viserion has been terrorising the Arbor for about 30 years now. Maybe this way i'll finally be able to tame him. I'm not sure what King Anders of house Vaith will make of me marching on King's Landing, but I'm not really sure how he ended up sitting on the Iron Throne anyway

One of my games, it's a guy of House Hersy who got the IT once the Targs were gone. I had to check the wiki to know who the hell were these guys and I still have no idea why the game chose him, over say Massey from the Crownlands.
Sometimes, this game cracks me up.
