I saw this thread and thought it was pretty funny.  Someone suggested it should have been a full sentence being quoted, so I am reviving the thread, except with the instruction to quote the first full sentence on pg. 27 of the nearest book at hand.  Yes, I could have changed the page number, but, what the heck....

Sorry, it's the closet book nearby (re-reading), and the only English book I have in my possession (bought the boxset with books 1 to 5 today).

This would be mine because HGttG is the nearest book to me as well. But I'll go with the second nearest, which ends up being Adams' work again :lol:
