There is a soundtrack playlist on YouTube you might be interested in...

I was sceptical when I saw that a rock band had made a version of Rains of Castamere, but I was hooked as soon as he started singing. This is amazing! I get goosebumps everytime the cello starts playing.

I'm curious to see where this song will be used... Will it be played during a montage during the final moments of episode ten, or will we hear it tomorrow?

Maybe it will be played during the festivities after the Blackwater battle.

I've got to say I really like 'Warrior of Light', even though it makes Stannis seem evil when they play it over him doing something. It sounds like something out of Myst.
"Warrior of Light" is my favourite part of the soundtrack, as well. Very atmospheric, just the right undertone evoking both dread and wonder.

Others I like are "The throne is mine", "The mother of dragons" and "What is death may never die".

I can see that happening. Loras and Tywin, side by side, cutting down Stannis' force in slowmotion.

So very disappointed with The Rains of Castamere! The guy singing just sounds awful. Is he even trying? It's like he is reading poetry or something, not singing a sombre, haunting song. Such a shame as the music is just perfect.
The rest of the soundtrack is pretty amazing though, especially Theon and Stannis/Melisandre's Themes. And ALL the music for Blackwater  is just unreal!

(the House Stark theme is still the best leitmotif  though)

The Rains of Castamere sounds haunting enough to me. His voice is perfect for it.

And I think the song will be used in the episode 10 credits. If we do get a version of Castamere in the show it'll be different, probably sung by a character in the show.

I have the whole soundtrack on my iPod and love it to death, though. It really is more diverse than season 1's, but I understand that since Djawadi was brought in last minute, though still was able to churn out a very memorable score. This year, though, he outdid himself.

Wow, no love for "House of the Undying?"

It was super haunting, and then it gets sort of sad and melancholic in the middle and I swear if they surprise us with a Rhaegar vision that would be the perfect spot for it.

I haven't listened to it yet. I'd rather hear it in context first. I'm glad you think it's good though. Music can make or break a scene. (Imagine the movie Drive without its soundtrack)

Rains of Castamere is great , there is a subtlety to The National which goes under appreciated

I'm with the people who see the Rains of Castamere over the end credits of Blackwater. Maybe have a singer perform it on screen in a more upbeat way then have The National version over the credits after seeing the aftermath of the battle or whatever. (Then doing a similar thing for an episode much later on). It's definitely what Tyrion was whistling earlier on.

Totally called it.

As I've said before the soundtrack does the job but with the exception of a few bits it's lackluster. When you consider the the scope of the series would have been better served by a more skilled composer like Oscar Araujo for example. I can only imagine the exquisite themes that guy would have come up with...this gives you a good idea: http://youtu.be/yLPxJzfQBUE

Same thing goes for the 'Rains of Castamere', this rendition doesn't move me. Some neo-period groups such as Qntal, Broceliande or Faun would have taken it to the next level.
