Probably Jorah but I think that he is better as Davos.

I'd guess Barriston, myself. Minus the beard he seems a good fit to me. Glad it didn't happen whoever he was supposed to be; he is the perfect Davos.

At first i thought Stannis, but now i am leaning towards Jorah. In my mind all the islanders had an Irish/Celtic feel to them.

He's pretty much exactly how I imagined Stannis.
I think he would've made a much better Stannis than the one we have one.

Jorah would have been my guess. I thought maybe Rodrick Cassell, but I don't think they'd want to have Liam killed off early on.

Could have made a good Barristan too.

He is pretty much the exact description of Jorah in the books. More than confident that he was offered to play Jorah in Season 1. But i like the way things turned out. i love Ian Glen's Jorah and Liam's Davos.
