JonBran
If you don't like spoilers dont read this.....Those who have read the books will knowTyrion's inevitable fate, his own man turning on him and hacking off half his nose, leaving a nasty scar across his faceI truly hope once he makes his recovery that the prop team will be able to have Tyrion's nose appearing the way it should be. Given how they do not have Dinklage wear contact lenses to portray his mismatched eyes in the book, will they also leave out this physical description?? Ser Joe of House Targaryen
He's going to end up with a massive scar, thats for sure. His nose will most likely remain intact, though. When you think about it, tv Tyrion started off far less disfigured than book Tyrion. I dont think theyre comfortable making him ugly, really. I bet the scar wont even be that bad. Katydid
I'm okay with Tyrion's nose remaining. In S3, it'd either be a logistical nightmare to CG out Dinklage's nose for every shot, or a horrific amount of time in the make-up chair for him. So a nice, nasty scar will do just fine for me. Ferrum Aeternum
Perfectly fine with it if they make the scar nasty enough (the wound most certainly looked nasty). All that really matters is that his face is visibly, permanently disfigured. I think D&D know the importance of this even if the limitations of television make an actor losing half his nose impractical.
Mack Kilimaro
Tyrion will come out looking like Omar. All in the game, yo.
The Bastard of Bolton
They couldn't be buggered to CGI out Rorge nose for the 4 minutes he was featured this entire season, considering how central a character Tyrion is, of course they wont. Just look at the wound, it was a clean cut, he'll have a raw red line across his face and I'm glad we'll have that much.
House Snow
It think people are underestimating how hard the nose CGI is. They refer to boardwalk empire, but if you watch it the guy only takes the mask off when he still or moves just a little and I think thats deliberately due to the limitations of the CGI. King Rickon
Yeah, it would be stupid to remove half of Tyrion's nose as it would be time consuming and expensive and for what? Just give him a scar and move on. Having half of his nose missing doesn't effect what happens to Tyrion. Having Tywin come back to King's Landing does. He just needs to be unconscious for a few days and all will be well.

Lord Godric
Well he didn't really lose his nose did he? Looked like it was still there to me. Probably just have a scar for a while, maybe even from now on. But I doubt it seeing how both his and Jaime's hair seems to have lost it's blondeness over the season. Lord Godric
That sword slash was EPIC!I was stunned how swift it was.I wondered if it happened too quickly so that people who don't know it was a member of the Kingsguard are going to understand that. Lord Elrosir
I just hope both Tyrion and Davos don't appear next episode. That would be awesome.I would imagine that Davos would have to show up if Salladhor was going to pick him up and Mel imprisons him this season (as it has been alluded to in interviews) .Tyrion will definitely appear (waking up) in VM. Tywin takes the Hand position and the glory, whilst Tyrion gets the short end of the stick.
StarkBlack21
GRRM wrote this episode, and he emphasized how Varys HATES MAGIC. Isn't it weird Varys would be a TARG supporter when they have DRAGONS? You would think he would be anti-Targ like the BRAVOSI. HMMM

HMMMI don't pretend to understand Varys' intentions, but supporting the Targaryens vs Followers of Rh'llor / Asshai is pretty different in my book. Almost everything that happens within the Rh'llor camps is magic to the nth degree whereas the Targs are pretty down to earth other than Dragons. HMMMWell, Varys hates magic is in the book too.And yeah, it almost makes it seem like, hmm, he might NOT be a Targ supporter, but have another agenda... I wonder...;)He's in with the dragonless Blackfyres.
