So is the battle over? Please no spoilers, but are all of Stannis's men killed then?

Yes, the battle is over. Not everyone is killed, as we saw Stannis being pulled away and his men running, but he suffered a massive defeat.

Is the war done? Well... wait and see.

Remember Stannis has lots of ships.  Many were burned, but not all of them.  So no, not all of his men were killed.

Well, not really.  This isn't exactly a spoiler, more a detail that wasn't focused on in the episode, but tagged just in case:

As was made pretty clear in the show, much of Stannis's force was made up the Stormlands men who came to his side after Renly was killed.  When they started to lose the battle tonight after Tywin and the Tyrells showed up, many of them switched sides.  The OP may have noticed Loras was wearing Renly's armor- the fact that it looked like the spirit of their old king was charging into battle helped to encourage many of them to switch.  So many of Stannis's men surrendered, some were killed, but he still has a small army left.

don't worry, Stannis will be back, you can't just defeat Stannis in one battle and except that he will surrender, that was just one battle, the war isn't over

The Battle of Blackwater is just another cog in the machine that is the War of Five Kings. It is far from over.

It seems strange that completely left Salladhor Saan out of the battle.  His only imprtant aspect in the book is that he is disrespted during the battle and left in the back causing him to have Stannis' only remaining ships.  If they point this out after the battle it will seem kind of forced, but I have faith that they can pull it off.

Or do you think they don't really care about Salla's role and are only using him as a foil for Davos?  Some sort of untrustworthy pirate vs loyal smuggler sort of thing?
