Well, he can be in Braavos, mysteriously tell Ayra that 'a Man must be away for a time'. (A Man has patrol duties!) She can continue on with the blind girl assistant or whomever, and a couple episodes later, a Man is back.

Anyone have any thoughts on how jon's plot is going to play out tomorrow? Very confusing how they showed ygritte taking a swipe at Jon, wonder how they get around to the end of that storyline?

Why? Tom W. as Jaqen has been a real fan favorite in this series--every scene with him and Ayra brings in tons of viewer response. He's uber-mysterious, cool, laid-back, funny and strange with his third-person speech (that about a million forum posters have picked up, including this girl) -- and utterly magically deadly. He's smoking sexy, without any hint of inappropriate or creepy vibes toward Ayra whatsoever (thank the gods, old and new!). This show has combined, merged, substituted characters throughout, with great success, IMO. Why then not let Jaqen introduce Ayra into the mysteries of the House of Black and White, instead of some new actor? Providing Tom W. doesn't have other commitments that keep him from appearing in future episodes of GoT, I say he's flat-out perfect to substitute for the kindly man. He's perfect. Perfect.

Yes, he's maybe perfect for Jaqen H'ghar, but he's not the kindly old man.
I want to see an old man with a kind smile, who is maybe one of the most dangerous persons in Westeros and Essos combined, tutoring Arya the ways of the Faceless Men. Jaqen played his part, he is even one of my favorite characters, but I simply don't want him to be the kindly man in the series. After he made his leave in the books, I wanted Arya to come with him, I wanted to read so much more about him and to learn his history. But now, I'd be really pleased if he plays an important part in Arya's future story-line (post ADWD). That's maybe the way most viewers will feel, like most book readers felt, they wanted to see more of Jaqen and they'll see him in season 5 with his new face.
Jaqen seems to be on a really big mission overall, if he's supposed to show Arya the house of Black and White, only to leave again, then he'll have screen time for maybe 1 minute. I'd rather have the Kindly man the whole time.

I wouldn't be surprised either way, with Xaro living or dying. I think there is good story angles to go with either way. I'm just hopin' for a glimpse of Ian McElhinney in tonights episode. Oh, and Rhaegar.

But I'm totally against having Jaqen again in Braavos, would be a bad idea.
I'm confident in seing Barristan in the episode, but I may be wrong.
All in all, the three most exciting storylines for the episode are Jon's, Dany's and Theon's.
Even if I'm looking forward to Davos' scenes if he as any.

o play a trick on its young star, show-runners David Bienoff and D.B. Weiss sent Allen a fake script for the finale. “They kind of added a scene where Bran jumps out and stabs me in the chest and says, ‘This is my Winterfell, not yours,’ ” says Allen. “And [the instruction] goes, ‘Theon lies on the floor dead.’
“I think after about two or three weeks the guys I was shooting with said, ‘Guys, you should call him up and tell him it’s a joke because he might be sitting there torturing himself, pulling his hair out.’
This is brilliance. Pure, brilliance!

Even tho in the novels Jaqen does appear in Crows (not as Jaqen).... it is so brief that blink and you would miss it.
Seeing how they Jazzed up Dany's Qarth story, I think it could have been more imaginative , but I am not one of those readers who opposes it ... I can see the same thing for Braavos... more happens there ... but for TV it probably needs a little punch up too.
To me, if the Kindly Man was Wlaschiha it would not bother me , a reader, one bit.

I wonder, if , like in the novel, in E10, he reveals that he does know she is Arya Stark?
In the book he tells her twice he knows this.

Jon - melee with QH... pretty cool fight, sans puppy
King's Landing - Tywin is savior, blah blah... has tea with his kids and "by the way, we don't have Arya"
Dany - Burning Down the House! Dragon's get big somehow and she shows up at the docks with the assassin closing in...
Robb - hmmm? maybe telling mommy he loves his new girlfriend?
Winterfell - burn baby burn
North - and the grand finale, 3 blasts.

I can't think of any other character that may be able to appear in Essos with Dany. Well, actually I do, perhaps Petyr 'Teleport' Baelish.
