The cookbook from these guys is out !!!

I just received my copy in the mail today. There is a nice, long introduction by GRRM that talks about his relationship to food and meals as it pertains to world building that was completely unexpected, What a great addition.
The photography of the dishes is mouthwatering in and of itself. Just flipping through the pages makes me hungry. The book is laid out from different regions of culinary fare from all over George's world starting from the Wall and then giving us an almost coast to coast tour across Westeros and then over to the Free cities and slave states of Esos.
The recipes are easy to follow, and there is a brief introduction at the beginning of medieval spices, sauces, and pie crusts that familiarize the reader with different spices they might not be used to, and then gives suggestions for substitutions for more easily attained spices. The dishes themselves consist of almost everything we have read in Mr. Martain's books including lamb and onion soup, sister stew, a bowl of brown,Sansa's lemon cakes, and honeyed locusts. I plan to be cooking a number of these dishes this week.
All in all, I am really happy with this book. If you are a fan of the books, and a fan of cooking, then I don't know how you could possibly not like this tome. I would recommend it highly.
