Tyrion may no longer be Hand, but he is still a Lannister, still a schemer and still can report that Pycelle isn't exactly as he seems.Except Pycelle is Tywin's spy.Tywin already knows Pycelle is playing games- because Pycelle is working for Tywin. Indigocell Posted June 6, 2012 Share Posted June 6, 2012 It was the same actor, the reason he seemed so different is because he was gloating, it was a small victory for him after what Tyrion did. Khal Pono Posted June 6, 2012 Share Posted June 6, 2012 Props to Mr. Glover for pulling off his gloating alterego so completely that some viewers didn't even recognize the "real" Pycelle when he was unveiled, his doddering act cast aside.I was initially sad that Roy Dotrice got sick and couldn't play Pycelle in the TV series, but Glover nails the role, IMO.
