I haven't  seen one of these for a while so I though that I would post it.

my crackpot theory is that Jon is actually the son of Howland Reed and Lyanna Stark and Ned thought that his friend had betrayed him and never speaks of him. Rheagar was jealous of Howland and stole Lyanna to fulfill the dragon has three heads prophecy but found that she was already pregnant so left her in the tower of joy. protected by Kings guard who were ordered to kill the child and bring Lyanna back to him. this was interrupted by Ned who killed the kingsguard.

what is your most craziest theory?

I have to post two theories because they are both about equal on the scale of rediculous but possible.

First is King Roberts head being under Robert Strongs helmet. He will have a sudden moment of awareness as he is fighting the faiths champion, right after he misses a sword swing and accidentally kills Tommen, and he will realise that he is Robert, he is dead, and he is fighting for the honor of the person he hates most in all the world. He will rip off his helmet, scream "fuck this shit!" and then stab himself to death with his own sword. The faith will then drag Cersie off to the gallows and put an end to her for good and all, only to be slaughtered by Jamie who appears to be making a rescue attempt, only to turn around and strangle her himself with his nice shiny new golden hand.

Other Theory is that Lancel found some way to bribe Ser Mandon Moore into assassinating Tyrion at the Blackwater for all the shit Tyrion put him through during the whole "Spy on Cersie" fiasco, and neither Jackoffery or Cersie had anything to do with the attempt.

Mind you all I don't actually subscribe to either of these theories, but I have considered them both as remote possibilities that wouldn't catch me totally off guard if either of them came true. I short I think either of them could be possible but very, very likely.

EDIT: Reading the post above me actually reminded my broken memory of another crackpot: That Jon is the son of Lyanna and Benjen, thats why its kept so secret, and also why Benjen is banished to the wall. And don't tell me he was too young, there are kids in the ghetto that are ten years old and have children in their teens, so anything is possible. :D

I have two.

1. Falyse Stokeworth's head is on UnGregor's body.

2. Jaime and Cersei are Aerys' children, not Tywin's. This one I don't actually believe; it's more about wanting it to be true.

OK, three.

3. Dany is going to go full-on Targ crazy and become one of the main antagonists — if she's Azor Ahai, it's because Azor Ahai was never meant to be "good."

I don't know that I truly in my heart of hearts think that Patchface is the real Aegon but I do think there will be some revelation about his identity that is important.  He's not just some drowned successfully prophecying fool for nothing.

Here is my (newest) crackpot theory.

Petyr Baelish is actually a bastard Tully which is why Hoster was fostering him (a nobody from a nobody House) at Riverrun.  This accounts for why Hoster was so horrified about 1. Petyr falling in love with Catelyn and 2. impregnating Lysa.  It's why he resorted to secretly aborting the baby, and why he's so tortured by the memory.

And it makes even more creepy Littlefinger's creepy obsession with Sansa.

I don't believe this theory, but it's in my mind.

Briennsa-I firmly believe that the two of them are destined to be together and after Brienne defeats the Night King(Stannis), Sansa will take over the Seven Kingdoms and rule as Westoros' first Virgin Queen with Brienne as her LC and lover.

And if you encourage me, I will talk your ear off about her appointing Jon as Hand, Dany as Justice and Arya as her Mistress of Whispers.

Thats a pretty awesome theory right there, and its just twisted enough to fit shittlefinger perfectly. I could actually subscribe to this theory, pretty believable in the grand scheme of things. I could also see shittlefinger having a "Joe Dirt" moment and actually wanting Sansa more once he realises he is kin to her.

I have two -

1) Im convinced that the Tathered Prince is the son is Aerion Targaryen.

2) Part of me believes that Sir Author Dayne is alive and well at Greywater Watch waiting until Rhaegar's son is revealed to make an appearance.

Most crackpot: Renly was Robert Baratheon's bastard son, not his younger brother.

My newest crackpot theories:

1) Greyscale to Dragon is as deadly as Obsidian to the White Walkers.
Obsidian will melt a white walker and turn it to water, Greyscale will stiffen a dragon and turn it to a stone. Jon Connington will accidentally turn one of Dany's dragons to a stone.

2) Daenerys will never meet Jon. Jon is too busy entertaining the Others.
Blue flower in wall of ice refers to her forming an alliance with Loras during her pilgrimage to Dragonstone in winter.
Dany will then catfight Sansa for the Miss 'younger and more beautiful queen of Westeros' Pageant.

I'm in a similar boat. I don't necessarily think it is true or, perhaps, better put, that it is at all likely, but I do think it could be true and there is enough groundwork for the idea in order to disqualify it from the crackpot bin.

Also, I really want it to be true.

That Bran hit his head while climbing, and never actually saw Cercei- Jaime and dreamed everything else that happened after that chapter. He wakes up and Ned and Robert return from the hunt, there are no evil plots or anything, and everyone lives happily ever after.

:agree:  I'm convinced that this is why we get the whole Targ/coin flip saying. Jon will be sane/ Dany crazy! And if Cersei and Jaime are Targs...Jamie sane/Cersei crazy!
