I am annoyed that Ros got more screen time then Roose, one of my favorite bad guys in the book. I would have liked to have seen more of Roose and his houses history.

Yeah, I was also hoping to see a lot more Roose   He's one of my favorite characters in the show at the moment.

I bolded the people I thought got too much screentime. Dany and Robb, especially, who are basically the "YOUNG BADASS ADULT" walking cliches on the show. Yeesh, Dany really did not need that much for what actually happened in her story.

What they really should have done is split Dany's 53 minutes into 3 parts, and feature her in only 3 episodes, same with Jon.

Yeah, they could have done fewer scenes, but made them longer. It could have made for a much stronger story. The HotU was awkward in part because it was so short, I think.

I think these number look pretty close to where they should be after the end of the season. Still bugs me that Ros is on the list at all. I just want her to go away.

Parroting on with the Roose love. I think McElhatton nailed what little he had to work with in his scenes.

Stannis having less screen time than Brienne, Littlefinger, and the Hound (among others) is pretty sad. Renly died fairly early in the season and Stannis still only mustered up about ten more minutes in screen time than him. Love him or .hate him, Stannis is a big part of the second book and I don't think they spent nearly enough time on him.

To be fair, Stannis was mostly absent in the book, too - it's just that in the book, his scenes were an awful lot more meaningful than what we got. Every single line I wanted Stannis to say was cut. Every last one of them.

I wish Bran would be higher on the list, but there was really not much to do for him this season because there were no Reed children.

I agree that they wanted to make them, as you put it, YOUNG BADASS ADULT, and I do not think it is much of a problem in itself. The problem is, particularly with Robb's story, that what they did was not that interesting.

hk47 Thank you so much for doing this all season!! We truly appreciate it, and this is very insightful and interesting to see! I applaud your hard work and hope you are up for the task again next season!

Dany had too much time for sure..In the novel she had 4 chapters. If they wanted that much time for her, I wish her scenes would have been much better developed and similar to the novel.

Roose Bolton: 6:08..the lowest screen time of all the characters on the whole list..that is an absolute shame!! He was great...I would have liked to have seen him in the finale at some point. He was in the recap before the episode after all!!

Also wish Davos had some more time!

I'm really interested in how this will look next season. If Tyrion is still on the top then D & D really have their favourites. Since Jon has the most chapters in ASoS I expect him to be on the top or at least second or third.

Tyrion at the top isn't really a surprise is it? He had the lion's share of the chapters in A Clash of Kings.
