I like Jaime Fox, I love Christoph, and Leo looks awesome (great to see him as a villain).

I also dig the James Brown track.

Really? I don't know, a lot of people don't think he's that great, but I'm a fan. I agree that he wouldn't work in many villainous roles (Tarantino originally wanted him as Hans Landa in Inglourious Basterds, which just makes NO sense in my opinion), but I think this will work well for him. Somehow he just fits as a wealthy psychotic plantation owner, at least for me. :dunno:

Yeah his potrayal of the evil one in Man in an Iron Mask, was the first time I had respect for the guy as an actor.

He was Joffrey before there was a Joffrey

Limbaugh will probably hear about this and say "Only in Obama's America could a film about white folks getting killed by a black man be celebrated like this."

Tarantino FTW! Hopefully this is as entertaining as Inglourious Basterds.

Sucks that Will Smith turned this role down.  I like Jaime Foxx, but Smith would have killed it.

Jaime "Kingslayer" ;) Fox is a much better actor. Will Smith is pretty much the same guy in every movie. I kind of wish it was Idris Elba though

Idk.  Seeing how he played Hancock for the first hour would have been a perfect portrayal for this movie.

Christoph Waltz's accent was annoying me already.

Looks cool though.

Yeah, I understand the impetus to use him after how awesome he was in IB, but he just doesn't come off quite right here.  Maybe we'll get some explanation that he's some recent immigrant turned Old Westerner?  I don't really expect it, though.

I think this looks like a high-risk, high-reward type of movie from just that one preview.  I hope it's good, and QT has built up enough good will.

He's apparently a german dentist turned bounty hunter.

I used to dislike him for some reason. Once he did Gangs of New York though my opinion turned around, that's one of my favorite films.

Also I'm something of a Tarantino fanboy

Everything QT does is high-risk, high-reward.  It's a tribute to his skill in his craft that he's pulled it off so many times.

Hmmm, didn't get the "this is awesome" vibe from that trailer as with Inglorious Basterds, which lived up to its billing as well.

This will be a good film I am sure, but the trailer didn't hit the right note for me.
