Titles pretty self explanatory. What moment or moment, if any, made you cry. In ASOIAF theres plenty, imo.

I can't really think of anything that actually has, I can be incredibly emotional but I can't remember the last time I cried, as a boy I guess. So while it didn't make me cry I came across this reading about Sansa today and it just made me really sad.

"Thankfully no one seemed to notice that she was crying as she stood there, wrapped in her father’s colors; or if they did, they pretended not to."

That girl was so alone there.

I'm naive and sentimental I know, but I feel convinced that Bran is not merely trying to communicate with Theon in Winterfell's godswood, but to comfort him, despite the reasons he has to hate him, and it really makes me weepy for his sweet boy's heart, as well as for Theon, who has fallen so low that the best comfort he can get is from some leaves and the wind.

Nothing at all. some parts are very choking and upsetting. The most upsetting for me was Cat Stark scratching her face after Rob was killed.

Being a heartless bastard, I've never been close to crying over this series but the closest I got was in AGoT after Tyrion and Yoren etc visit Winterfell and Robb sits on Bran's bed and talks about an adventure to the Wall to visit Jon. I felt so sorry for Robb as he began to cry. :(

Maester Aemon :bawl:

I know he had a long (and relatively good) life, but when he died it just broke my heart.

There are a few moments in the books that have made me sad but the only ones that made me outright cry are those ones with Maester Aemon on the ship. :crying:

Seeing all the ironborn PoV chapters in AFFC.

Not necessarily cry, but at least made me very sad:

Cat with Ned's bones, Cat's "not my hair" during the RW. Maester's Luwin and Aemon.

Kevan's death stroke me hard for some reason, but it was also because the series ended (i mean till 2016)
