I think she is more Tully that she ever was a Stark. She didn't deserve a wolf. A spoiled brat waiting for her white knight to save her. This is not Starkish. She knew where Jon was. She could escape Eyrie and go to him. Boring, snob, obnoxious and useless.
Who would be so dumb to forget who really is? Who would be so dumb not to escape KL? Who would be so dumb letting herself be used by someone?

I like Sansa and it isn't out of pity. She has grown as a character and it will be interesting to see how her story in the Vale plays out. And I fully expect her to have some part in the endgame as well.

Sorry, I didn't realize direwolves were a type of pokemon that could be dispensed when people are deemed 'worthy' enough to receive them.
I also like your indepth understanding about Tully and Starks which aren't based on misunderstood notions about family traits but are wise words plucked from indepth analysis of the books. I love how you backed your opinions with evidence and no ad hominem attacks whatsoever.

However, I do think the main strength of her chapters has always been her perspective of the events surrounding more interesting characters like Cersei, Joffrey, Tyrion, and Littlefinger.

There was a recent maelstrom of anti Sansa and Cat threads, so there's been a lot of angst on both sides. I'd strongly recommend the second link Dr. Pepper gives, and some of its predecessors as well. Sansa's arc is pretty subtle, and those thread really get into some pretty interesting aspects of Sansa's evolution. Personally, I like Sansa a good deal, and I believe that her story is far more similar to Arya's than initially meets the eye (and yes, she is very Nedlike as well).

Well if you are going to say a character like Sansa is nasty, traitorous and selfish when characters like Gregor, Ramsey and Walder are floating about then people will react to your statement accordingly. Others can express their opinion too you know.

Well thank you! That is so nice of you!
I like that you can understand the fact that people tend to have different opinions and that different people can comprehend the same facts with different ways.
cheers

I'm curious, how do you expect her to escape King's Landing? She's a rather noticable person surrounded by people who mean to do her harm. It's not like she could wake up one morning and decide to waltz up to the Wall like it's a evening stroll.
