I know this sounds fairly absurd but i like the idea of the great Morgan Freeman to portray Ben in the HBO tv series What do you think guys??

I think somebody that vaguely resembles Morgan Freeman would be fantastic.

How about Ben Onwukwe, formerly Recall in London's Burning?

Experienced TV actor that would not cost much.

And he is certainly starting to look like Morgan Freeman as he ages...

nice, even though he is not as dark as Morgan he sure can bring Brown Ben Plumm's character to life!

Yeah, we could get Morgan Freeman for Plumm, Tom Cruise for the Blackfish, Leonardo DeCaprio for Mance, Adam Sandler for Tom Sevenstreams, The Rock for Belwas, Ben Stiller for Thoros, Sacha Baron Cohen for Reznak, Johnny Depp for Vargo Hoat, Will Smith for Daario Naharis, Mark Wahlberg for Dondarion, and Taylor Lautner for Osmond Kettleblack.

I may be mis-remembering but the Plumm's are a westerosi family, in the books he was described as well tanned but still white.  But, they've changed races before, just look at Xaro...

He supposedly had some targaryen blood in him (from one of Aegon the Unworthy's bastards line I think). That is just going from my memory. He isn't from a Westrosi family that I can remember.

I am not very observant, so I was thrown too (because of the Plumm thing), but I went back and looked and he's actually a mixture of many many ASOIAF ethnicities with some Plumm thrown in, and he's described as brown-skinned, with almond eyes.  I think Summer Islands, Qohorik, Dothraki, and a few other things were in there with the Plumm part.

He's on some random hospital show here but was also in Star Wars: Episode 1 and Doctor Who a couple years back, so no stranger to genre pieces. Got the right look for it imo, could easily be aged up a bit if necessary and is a pretty experienced actor: http://www.ashmolean...gh_Quarshie.jpg I can definitely see it working.

There's my 2 cents, all depending if the character is even going to be on the show, there's quite a few characters to be cast in Meereen already. Do you guys think we'll be seeing a Ben Plumm any time soon?
