I thought that nowadays Jamie is a good guy, if he was a bad one he would be in my list too.

Tywin, Jaime, all the Greyjoys and that Darkstar fellow...overrated. Way too high an opinion of themselves from what I've read.

Tywin overrated? And Jaime and Euron too?
Darkstar is just a jealous, insane puppet.

Roose Bolton, indisputably 'bad'. He had me at 'Jaime Lannister sends his regards'.

For me, it's Roose all the way, and Cercei is a bit of a guilty pleasure. Um, also, I have to admit to sort of liking Tywin too. But the vindictively cruel for the pure joy of it characters like Ramsay, Euron, Victarion, Gregor, all the Bloody Mummers and so forth just have no appeal whatsoever for me, even as a person who has always liked the villains best, for the most part. I like my villains damaged and introspective, not sociopathical and vicious.

Necromancy FTW!!
Also:
1. The
2. Biter and Rorge! These two were hilarious, with Shagwell they were like a comic trio.
3. The Smiling Knight! A deadly mix of chivalry and madness, with a winning smile!
My pet crackpot is that Biter is an offspring of the cannibalistic Lothstons, and the Smiling Knight was also a Lothston! Imagine him with Biter's smile... you get the idea!
4. The Mountain that Rides! He lived cool, kicked Dorne ass, and came back from the grave as the ultimate undead Kingsguard Knight!
5. The thlobbering thellthword from acrothth the thea, theeking thappireth! I mean, even Gregor was amused by his antics, and he's not an easy man to please.
6. Faceless Men/Servants of the Great Other: a cult of death worshipping assassins who possibly caused the Doom of Valyria and are probably working to eliminate the Azor Ahai so that darkness could enshroud all existence and everyone receives the sweet gift of death. Valar Morghulis!

Given where I have worked over many years, and my experience of people in those organisations, I have to say I have always loved those two. The quiet 'men who know too much' - they cannot be got rid of without all sorts of unpleasantness, because they have their fingers in all the financial pies and know where all the bodies are buried (especially as they have buried a few themselves!)

Varys is not a bad guy, at least as far as we can judge so far. He does things for the good of the realm, and he even has a measure of compassion, plus a few obviously positive acts (such as saving little Aegon - if that was indeed what has happened).
