[Ser Bacardi Oakheart]

I think Glenn Ross would be a great choice to play Strong Belwas. For those who havn't heard of him Glenn is a strongman competitor from Northern Ireland.

When I saw the title of this thread, I pictured See Barristan in full Alec Baldwin mode telling Belwas to "Put. Those. Locusts. DOWN."

The nice thing is that he doesn't just look right, but he can act too.  His episode of "Life" is great, and he's hilarious in it, while also convincingly thug-like.  Actually, "Life" is great, and anyone who hasn't seen it should watch it on Netflix streaming.

I don't think cutting characters is necessary. Especially if they split every book from now on into two seasons.

Totally how I pictured him. When you find someone this perfect for a role, it would be a waste not to hire him.

Sorry for necro-ing, but I have just been on a Breaking Bad binge and I think the guy that plays Saul's bodyguard, Lavell Crawford, would make an excellent Belwas.

As far as minor characters + acting ability goes.....I don't think Glenn Ross would cut it......the 'Strong" and big belly part maybe, but the guys a strongman not a actor.
