Your life in songs

You will, you will, you will by Bright Eyes (I don't know exactly how many you wills or what punctuation is involved in the title but it's close to that) is a song tied to kissing my ex fiancee Eric for the first time (this isn't sad, we're on good terms and have a bobcat together). It was the first time I heard it and even with a first kiss going on I noticed and remembered how much I liked that song.
Nobody I'm sure here is much of a country fan but He Walked On Water by Randy Travis is the only song capable of reducing me to tears. If anyone knows that song you already know it is because I looked up so much to my grandfather.
Bob Seger's Beautiful Loser album is roadtripping to the family farm with my dad. I remember he had it on a cassette that was half painted orange from overspray on the garage floor when he painted his truck.

The Lonely Man aka The Sad Walking away music from the Incredible Hulk.
My Way - I love the Frank Sinatra version but my favorite is the Elvis version.
That's Life - Frank Sinatra
Come on Eileen - word on the street is I used to dance to this in my car seat.
Why Can't This Be Love, Right Now - Van Halen
Power of Love - Huey Lewis and the News
Godzilla - Blue Oyster Cult, My father used to sing this to me when I was a little boy because I was obsessed with Godzilla, or maybe I liked Godzilla specifically because he would sing it to me.Those are my favorite memories of my dad. And now it is my go to karaoke song.
There are more just can't think of them right now.

For Emma , Forever Ago by Bon Iver - This is one I've listened to the most I think. It's a beautifully hushed record.
Continuum by John Mayer
The soundtrack for Eternal Sunshine , paticularly Everybody's gotta learn sometime by Beck

‘I Am the Walrus’ is the song that got me to love the Beatles.
‘Hymn to Freedom’ by the Oscar Peterson Trio. It imbues me with a sense of motivation and hope, so I listen to it whenever I feel disconcerted.
‘Smooth’ by Santana. My sister, my dad, and I would blast this on the stereo in the living room and shake our butts til bedtime. It takes me back to a time when I didn’t have inhibitions about my dance skills.
‘Rhapsody in Blue’ by George Gershwin. My boyfriend has been one of the main motivators in my life and he is obsessed with Gershwin. This song is also very whimsical so I can’t help but smile whenever I hear the clarinet trill at the opening.
‘(Oh) Pretty Woman’ by Van Halen. Van Halen was my mom’s favorite band, and this was her favorite song they did.
Excellent taste!!! George Gershwin. Fantastic!! Did you ever see The Lion King on stage? Wow, wow, wow!

You don't need to, but if you want to, let us know what it was. I'm proud of you anyway.

Oh my god how could I forget Disney songs. 'He Lives In You' from the Lion King 2 still gives me shivers. Those songs remind me of my cats

Ohhhh. Thanks for the explanation. Somehow, I missed that gondola.
Oh, this tickled me...
I used to work with this moron who said in a senior mgmt meeting that he was going to have to "throw down the gondola". Another person advised that he should be careful, as this could injure his back.
He no longer works there and we still all say that we are going to throw down the gondola.
