[Born amidst salt and smoke]

The Starks are the first house we come to grips with, and they dominate many chapters, and are seemingly the protagonist family. I was wondering whether there is anyone who hates the Starks and has their reasons why ? Because I haven't yet seen anyone hate on them.

Oh they are here. I find them bizarre. GRRM i think has made it pretty clear that they are protagonists and the heroes and we should want them to succeed

This.  There basically trying to be contrarian or trolls.  They usually point to Ned and Robb's falls and placing a high priority on honor as reasons for stupidity.  I cannot say this enough.  Having Honor =/= being stupid.  Yet that's the argument.  I love Robb and Ned and anyone who says they deserve what they got is just trolling.  Martin's put them through a ton of shit and the Starks will still rise, the time for wolves is coming.

I like the Starks but I really find them annoyingly stubborn sometimes. They're not at all my favourite House but I still like them.

I like the House Stark mainly because of their direwolfs, but the way Ned and Robb went about that "honor" stuff was really off-putting at times.

They can be annoying at times, but I still like them. The wolves will return, and there will be a Stark in Winterfell soon. Whether it's Rickon or Sansa, the Stark legacy will continue.

The people who hate Starks are obvious trolls. GRRM obviously intended them to be the protagonists, so people who hate them just end up looking stupid.

Which IMO is a little mind boggling, I know alot of people like Daenerys and that's fine, not my cup of tea but whatever. But what about Aerys?  Viserys?  Aeron brightflame, Maegor?  In the words of E-ro they've got that whole "incestuous master race" complex.  any targ love baffles me.

Individually, all of the Starks have faults. Which is normal, nobody is perfect.

Some people can't get over Ned's political naivety, or Sansa's naivety/'betrayal', or Cat's meddling and hatred of Jon, or Robb's mistakes, or Arya's murderous nature, or Bran's warging of Hodor and possible 'evil' new tree role, or Rickon's fierceness, or Jon's 'boringness' and political/leadership errors. All of which are valid criticisms, and provide good fodder for endless debates, however, en mass I think it is pretty hard to just outright hate the whole family. Though people do hate the Starks, I suppose, there are haters out there for pretty much all characters.

They also have Aegon 1, Jaeherys and Alysanne, Daeron the Young Dragon, Bloodraven, Aemon, and Aegon the Unlikely

Right and that's fine but that was also like decades and centuries ago, it just seems ridiculous to support the house of the Mad King.
