My thoughts, you're way off. And not just because I'm a Stark fangirl but rather because there is absolutely no indication for this whatsoever in the text.

And because there isn't any indication at all, I can only think you're trying too hard to come up with something unusual or original. And it isn't btw, others have postulated it before.

There's just no evidence in the text to support this. Might it have happened at some point before the present time? Sure, it's possible, but not with the characters that we know.

oh im sorry i forgot. the starks  are to "honorable". so i guess that you will no doubt object to my"lyanna was a whore" theory as well? you will no doubt come back with "oh but rhaegar kidnapped her against her will" line? so you are going to tell me that she felt NOTHING for the handsome dragon prince. by the way is there any proof that she was absolutly in love with robert?

I dunno - flesh them out and run them by us and we'll tell you what we think.  Just be sure to back them up somehow.

But I haven't noticed a groundswell of people attesting to her love of Robert, since you're wondering.  And I have noticed a quite a few thinking she did love Rhaegar.

It is not so much that the Starks are too honorable, it is just there is no textual evidence to support such a theory and plenty of evidence to say such a theory is impossible.

Most people think Lyanna went willingly with Rhaegar. In fact that is the general consensus. And no one anywhere ever would say that she was in love with Robert.

And yes, the Starks are honorable. No major family except the Targaryens practiced incest. The Lannisters don't really count since incest is not a thing they value as a whole, and only two members are known to have practiced it. No way did Lyanna have sex with any of her brothers.

mr. motte forgive me but the starks are just as flawed as any other house. the worst thing about them is that they HIDE it the best. eddard was about th sacrifice his honor over sansa before varys reminded him of it in the dungeon.

There's a difference between having flaws and engaging in incest. Having flaws also doesn't mean one's not honorable. Ned had many flaws, so did Catelyn, Robb, Sansa and Jon. It doesn't really mean they're not honorable people.

The only thing the Starks are really hiding from others is whatever Lyanna's promise was, and only one Stark knew about it. In fact, out of most of the houses in Westeros, the Starks are amongst those that have the least to hide.

Has your shift key been abducted, too?

Just fyi, it's entirely possible for Lyanna to have been kidnapped against her will by a man she had feelings for. Those aren't mutually exclusive.

If Lyanna got it on with any of her brothers (Which I doubt, would be shocked) it would be Benjen, it would explain him joining the watch.
