Do you think that any of King Roberts bastards will have a impact in TWOW??
I think Gendry will play a part in Jamie's POV

And, personaly, I like Gendry, so I hope he'll play a part (preferably a rather big one). Probably in Jaimies or Briennes pov, as you said.

BTW- how many are there? is it 16? how many are left?
"Although Robert Baratheon is known to have fathered - according to Maggy the Frog's prophecy - at least sixteen bastards, only one has been acknowledged. Varys admits to knowing of eight. Five have been seen by POV characters, while two others have been mentioned only in passing." -Westeros wiki on Robert

What i have so far
Gendry
Edric Storm
Mya Stone- A bastard daughter born to Robert in the Vale whilst he was Jon Arryn's ward. She served as a guide to and from the Eyrie, and became a favorite companion to Sansa Stark. Eddard Stark remembered that Robert was very fond of her, although like all his bastard children he later abandoned her.
Bella - An unacknowledged bastard daughter who lived at the brothel called "the Peach" in Stoney Sept. Her mother told her that she was conceived during the Battle of the Bells when a wounded Robert hid there.

Mya has plenty of time on her hands now that the trail up to the Eyrie is closed for the winter. I suspect Sansa is going to have some major adventures in the next book (getting kidnapped by the Mad Mouse, getting rescued by the mountain clans, generally saving SweetRobin from Littlefinger, etc) and I fully expect Mya to play a large part.
Gendry will be seen again, but he's going R'hllorist and becoming corrupted by UnCat with the rest of the BwB. For a shot in the dark, I see him being wounded in a fight and being rescued by Nymeria/Arya.
I think Edric Storm will play a huge role. He's been hiding in Lys as a guest of Salladhar Saan, but now that Saan has broken with Stannis Edric might get kicked out. Illyrio might offer him refuge, just for the sake of collecting as many peices in the Game of Thrones as he can. I see Edric as a possible dragonrider and a probable love interest for Arya. If he ever gets legitimized, he could become Edric "the Dragon Storm" Baratheon.

"waking dragons from stone" could = "making babies with Mya"

Im sure gendry has a big part to play in there somewhere aswell, but as for edric, im not certain if hes going to advance much further throughout the book, i didnt get the feeling that he had any special attributes for to build a story upon, he might appear in someones chapter but thats about it i think.

1. He is a smith and a r'hollorist
2. He is a son of a king
3. He knows how to rework valyrian steel
just speculation, but it had occurred to me when Brienne found him working at the forge.
Mya Stone was mentioned by someone else's POV when Robert went to KL to become king and marry Cersei he was going to take Mya with him and Cersei threatened to kill her if she came to KL. I know Mya felt abandoned by Bob, but he did her right.
I have no thoughts about Edric Storm. Since he was shipped from dragonstone he's been out of sight - out of mind. I think he was mentioned only once by Davos as proof of Tommen/Joffery/Myrcella's bastardship(bastard-dom?).

Edric Storm is still to young to do anything himself but i could see someone (King Robert loyalist) using him to revolt against Lannisters
Mya and Sansa becoming close is very likely.

sir gendry is currently in the company of someone who could very well recognise him as the heir of storms end by royal decree- jamie lannister. watching that obvious little tidbit play out is one of the more interesting aspects of the upcoming bannerless knot.
i fear that ned will follow in the footsteps of his namesake while being loved by fans and presumably on the side of right hes going to wind up beheaded by a vengeful queen

I never thought of that, but it is a really good idea. I really like Gendry and that would be an awesome way for it to go down. That is if Lightbringer is forged, it could just be that an ordinary blade turns into Lightbringer.
Speaking of which isn't there a part where Beric Dondarrion's sword turns into fire, and not a trick like Stannis or with wildfire like Thoros, but actually is on fire? I at first thought maybe he was AA when I heard that.

I like the idea of Sansa/Mya playing out like Robert/Ned, however I don't know if theres time for that. I like how Sansa is almost being trained by Littlefinger, she is much more intelligent now and knows how to play "The Game". Also her collecting people with skills, like Mya, is very Littlefingerish. I also like the idea of Mya reminding Sansa of Arya, it could help heal their relationship if they ever meet again.

Well Gendry isn't a "Ser", unless a knight in the BWB has knighted him. I don't know if Jamie will recognize Gendry as Robert's sons. Seeing the relationship there is one of those things that has to be pointed out. Ned only realized it because he was right on the cusp of discovering what Jon Arryn had been.

I assume you meant Gendry, not Ned, and that could play out especially if there were some Baratheon loyalists. Out of all of the bastards I feel he would be the one that could really be the "face" of any group. Mya is locked away up in The Vale with Sansa, Edric is too young, and Bella is off at some inn. However I don't think that GRRM would introduce something like that at this point. It would take at least a book to really develop some kind of "Baratheon Loyalists" group and then at least another book to play that out, maybe more to show the after effects (They start calling Robb the King in the North in AGoT and then his part of the rebellion doesn't end till ASoS, three books later.) If GRRM truly means to end the series in two books then I just don't see this happening unfortunately, it would be an awesome storyline IMO.

If greyscale catches up to his daughter or she dies during the extreme winter at the wall, Stannis might legitimize one of the bastards on his death bed to keep the House Baratheon going.

Most likely to be recognized is Edric Storm (noble born). The others that we know of are all baseborn.
I was curious why Val thought that greyscale was so much worse than the maesters seem to think it is. Maybe the cold makes it progress faster?
