My bad. I was about to reread the whole series but then I ended up picking up ASOS again cuz that was my favorite. Also, I kind of got my grandmother into the show and I left the first book at her place in case she wants to read it. Season 2 was kind of a hot mess, so I feel she needs the books.

Didn't one of the books say that Robert used to visit with his daughter in The Vale, btw? Mya Stone wasn't even in the show, so I'm pretty sure I got that right. ;-)

Robert did visit Mya, she was actually his first child.  Robert would drag Ned along with him when he went to visit her

I can't remember, is there any indication she knows he's her father?

Yea he definitely visited her. Mya doesn't know she is Robert's bastard though. I think it was in Feast when she was was escorting Alayne and Robert Arryn down the mountain when she describes a tall, strong man throwing her into the air as a child. And she was never afraid of falling because she knew he would be there to catch her. That's why she isn't afraid of the mountain or heights.

Does Thoros of Myr see visions in the fire like Mel? (I can't remember!)
If so, what if he sees something like a stag amongst them or something like that, perhaps a vision could be what makes people realise he is Robert's bastard?

I'm not sure how big a role the bastards can play now. Stannis won't them to ruin his claim, and if King's Landing is in good shape under Tommen, who cares about his lineage?

Thoros can see visions in the flames. What I don't see is why he doesn't see the resemblence of renly to young robert his good drinking buddy. But I think brienne will tell gendry. She knows who he is. At least she suspects it.

That in no way means she doesn't know her father, in fact I'm postive she does know. Cause everyone else does. Robert used to be a strong tall man. And even sansa knows she is robert's bastard. And mryanda royce and they are said to be like sisters. Why would she keep that from her?

I think Cat ask about her father, and she remember him as the quote up the thread said, but she did not who it was.

then he will take all his remaining roberts bastard and form alliance with arya, brotherhood and campaign for his claim for throne.

He does look into the flames, but is nowhere near as good at it as Mel.

Pretty sure she doesn't know. I don't think she refers to this tall guy who tossed her into the air as her father, just a man. Still, pretty sure she doesn't know.

Mya Stone has to know who her father is, half the realm knows? Although it appears she has no idea, I'm guessing this might be by design. She either pretends not to know, or dont really care. Maybe she hides the truth / for protection from Robert's enemys?

I like Gentry, he will play some sort of minor role...

Edric Storm could very well end up being the next Storm Lord!

Would love to meet this Bella?

I just don't see GRRM bringing up the bastards if they had no place, who can say for sure but Edric is a good bet for the storm lands, Alayne for something to do with the Vale or Sansa. Is Bella the whore who almost banged Gendry with Arya watching in the riverlands? I wouldn't hold it against her just making it an interesting read for Edmure and her... both missing in the Riverlands so far as I know. Gendry is intersting for the leader of the BWB or the re-forger of ice, or husband or Arya, I think. And just as a fact we do know there were 12 others via maggys prophercy.

I actually dont remember the scene with Bella & Gantry?
I always saw Gantry & Aria, just dont know how it fits... Aria is gonna be one sick character when she returns. She will be lurking in shadows, she has a serious agenda to complete. Maybe he will watch her back, sidekick/lover kinda thing? Dont see her the marrying type, she said so herself.

I like the idea of Stannis legitimizing all of Bob's bastards before he dies as a kind of Blackfyre parallel. There has to be something to the immense amount of fucking Bob did an that's the only way I can see GRRM making use of all 16.

Why is Gendry never named with a bastard name? like snow or stone. He is always just Gendry, or the bastard.
He is from KL so he would be Gendry Hill right, but no one ever calls him that.

Only if he was recognized, and then it would be Rivers. Hill is a Reach name.

Bella was one of the prostitutes in the brothel Tom and Lem etc. brought them to when they were looking for Beric Dondarrion in ASOS. When someone said Arya was a lady, Bella responded, "And I'm a king's daughter." Then she said she could be, Robert banged her mom. Arya remarked in her thoughts that Bella did have the same black hair as Robert, but then thought a lot of people have black hair. Gendry has the same black hair.

I like your idea for Gendry as a sidekick to Arya, and I feel that she's going to make her way back to Gendry at some point. She has an attraction to him, I think that's plain, but there's a bit of an age difference in the time they're together, and she's very childish towards him in a lot of ways. Probably the crush, of course, but she'll be older when she meets him again. I have a feeling Arya won't be returning to Westeros until the last book, though, and when she does, I believe she'll be a renegade FM.
