The most useful way to divide the body of music created by man, is into Dire Straits, and non-Dire Straits. I tend to agree with this analysis.

But lately I've been listening to instrumental acoustic songs by the ... Candyrat studio I think it's called.

Don Ross

EDIT: learning how to tie a link to a word =D

I just finished the opera Don Giovanni by Mozart with the chorus and orchestra of La Scala sung by Anna Netrebko and Bryn Terfel. It comes next the song called The conqueror worm 2 based in the work of E. Poe by Sopor Aeternus and the Ensable of Shadows and it comes next the Concerto no. 2 RV 279 La Stravaganza by Antonio Vivaldi with Rachel Podger

Any links for this? Sounds like something enjoyed strictly by people who know enough about music history to find it....

Florence and the Machine have pretty much dominated my playlist ever since I heard their song Seven Devils in the GoT Season 2 trailer, which is odd because they're very different from  the legion of rockers and rappers that generally rule my library.

Spectrum, Rabbit Heart, Howl and Shake It Out are some of my favorites.

And a little Menomena.

""Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh
I was looking for a breath of life
A little touch of heavenly light
But all the choirs in my head sang,
No oh oh...."

Also, their song Cosmic Love.

Mainstream: Been listening to Keane songs again in prep for the Strangeland tour. Even made a playlist of their typical setlist. I was also frustrated with the world yesterday so I had to have some angry Linkin Park music (their old songs, most like).

Old Songs: Inspector Mills is stuck in my head at the moment.

Yeah I know I'm cheesy. FTR, I thought Seven Devils suited Revenge more than the GoT plug. But I just love both shows for using the song.
