[Turinqui-Calima]

I got a package! Yey! It is opened because the husband thought it was from my parents and we didn't realize the mistake until we saw the card was made out to TC. The package was full of candy and snacks and I am super duper duper happy, especially since I already ate the Cheese Doodelz (I wanted to prove to my husband that Swedish cheese doodles are better than US ones, but he didn't agree).

The package also had 3 wrapped gifts that I am not opening until the 24th, so I am still good.

Thank you so much super super secret Santa. I will have a stomach ache most days this month but it will be totally worth it.

TC, I'm so glad you enjoyed the etables I hope there were some liquorice you liked. That is something I usually miss when I'm abroad, proper liquorice.

I'm so glad you like the gifts. I feel a little evil for sending the Specoloos Gingerbread Spread, it is very addictive and will probably be pretty hard to find in your neck of the woods. I'm glad you liked the owl too, it means a lot to me that you are planning to hang it up. I was very nervous sending it!

By the way and completely unrelated to the above, did I mention how excited I am about January? The husband and I are planning to take a trip to South Carolina to visit his brother.

OK...after fondling and shaking and admiring my gifts for so long, I must concede to the possibility of the end of the world before Christmas.

I told my co-workers last night that if we were all still here on Dec 23, that I would quit smoking and start going to the gym.

They tried to get me to sign a piece of paper guaranteeing this.

I am breaking down and opening up 1/2 gifts.

And....RIP goes the paper.....And I got the world's biggest Betty Boop coffee mug ever!  I'll have to reset my avatar fast!

eta:  The new avatar is Wens with christmas sock monkey and big Betty Boop mug!  Awesome!!!

I will save my second package until Christmas...no clue yet...

Wow, there are a lot of things in this box.

First off, I can't think you enough for including a gift for my son.  Alex is through the roof over getting something.

Alex shook his box and recognized the sound (I think all 10 yr old boys would have also known )

I love it all!  It wasn't goofy at all...or I am goofy and it was perfect for me
