If the kitten keeps a roommate awake, that's the roommate's problem. Like a man said, the kitten actually belongs to a roommate. It used to belong to this man's best friend, until a roommate agreed to keep it. But a dog always sleeps in a roommate's room, and a man doubts a kitten feels very welcome in there amongst the dog, not until they warm up a bit more.

This woman hopes it gets resolved to everyones satisfaction, because it's not good to lose sleep.
When this woman first got her "big boy" cat as a kitten, he was into everything and this woman almost cried after three days of no sleep, but it levels out, because they grow from being "cats" to sleeping machines pretty quick.
Neutering him later also helped with his behavior as well
This Womans other cat is just needy, but she gets over it and moves on to the next destraction, and it's likely the kitten will too.

A woman wants to tell the man that started this thread that it is up to 343 posts and will most likely be locked soon because of length. If this is the case, a man should start a new thread.
A woman would also like to say that she hopes the man who has a new kitten is enjoying the kitten. A woman does not like cats very much although she may be changing her mind because of this one funny cat that she knows.

A woman understands another woman missing her childhood home. This woman grew up in PA in a valley where the mountains seemed so close you could touch them. Now a woman lives in a river valley where she has to drive 2 hrs to even SEE mountains, 4 hrs to be in them.

This woman remembers one of the most quiet moments in her life.
This woman woke up in the middle of a Winters night when she was fifteen, looked out the window because it seemed like day.
This woman looked up and saw the full moon shining over the mountains so bright there were night shadows, and it was so quiet you could hear the snow fall from the trees, as well as hear the foot-fall of whatever night animal was out and about.
This woman wonders if she'll ever see the snow again, because in MD, it's just ice.
