Yeah, I got a bit exhausted the last two episodes.  Not enough to keep from watching, though.  I'm living on the hope that Sister Jude, a/k/a Judy, will return to Briarcliff in a blaze of glory, dealing out righteous whup-ass on the monsters therein.

I didn't watch session 1 and don't know how it went, but for season 2 this show does seem to be living all over the place. It already had quite the menagerie of boogeymen and supernatural beings, and recently there have been special characters per episode, eg Anne Frank, Angel of Death, and bad Santa. I'd like to see how this all ties up in the end. Thank god we still have Jude, Lana, and Kit to root for throughout the season.

Frances Conroy was freaking awesome. I hope she's on for the rest of the ride now. The scene between her and our favorite possessed nun was absolutely great.

I love Ian McShane SO much. He brought a ton of character to his deranged Santa.

Lily Rabe is still killing it (literally) as Sister Mary Satan.

The twists of this episode I didn't really see coming. I was on the edge of my seat for most of it, with my heart in my throat. Maybe I'm just a wuss. :P

I think it's hilarious how she became a nun and lived through all those years of guilt just because she never read the paper article correctly. What a dumbass,

Muhahahahahaha.   Just saw this and that's exactly what I thought when grown up Dead Girl walks in the door...oh, Judy.  You is stupid.

I was called away from the show last night HALF WAY THROUGH to help my husband with his computer problems.

If that ain't love, I don't know what is.    All I can say is thank the tiny gods for OnDemand.

Tears, you know I adore you, but come on. Surely she checked obits., or something.  I thought that was really stupid of the writers.  It was on a par with the whole "Who Shot JR?" deal where it's a dream.  Seriously?  She had no idea the kid was alive?  And how did the kid live?  Didn't she go bump over her?  It's not like she hit her in a mini-Cooper.  It was a big ass 1950's car.

That was just too dumb to be born.

Also, you are a good woman to help your husband with his computer problems.  Helping my husband with the computer generally leads to some marital difficulties.  :P

It isn't even a matter of knowing if the girl was alive or dead the moment after she hit her and under the influence of alcohol, all these years after even when Sister Satan left a clipping on her desk, she couldn't be bothered to read an article? She felt so guilty that she had to become a nun, but not guilty enough to check up on what happened?

And why was she wandering a road alone at night?
Like most things AHS, it is best not to poke holes, the writing has never been brilliant, but where else am I going to see Ian McShane as crazy Santa?

Last night was a lot more thrilling than most episodes, but it made even less sense and had no direction.

And seriously, crazy Santa's motivation was that he was prison-raped? So he kills 18 people and eats an orderly's face? I'm not trying to downplay the seriousness of rape or its potential consequences, but that seems a little far even by AHS standards.

It is totally insane, this show.  But I do adore me some Ian McShane.  And he kind of made Crazy Santa hot.

Hey, I didn't say she wasn't a silly ass!

I'm trying to give the writers a bone here.  (a bone with hardly any meat on it, granted.)

I just worked a 12-hour+ day.  I'm plumb tuckered out.  :(

Well that episode filled me with festive cheer. Get Ian Mcshane in a starring role for a show soon (Mr Wednesday in small gods?) as he absolutely shines as long as he has something interesting to do (not even Mcshane could save the character in Pillars of the Earth though).

This would be a harsh episode to ween children off the myth of Santa. I enjoyed the episode. I'm kind of surprised the real santa didn't turn up and kill Bad santa given how nuts the show is.

I'm pleased the show is sticking with a different story every season as they seem to burn out at some point in both seasons - although I thought it was only really the final episode of last season that was silly, This one has a bit too much going on and the hit run revelation still makes me laugh.

Last season had, at least for me, a very satisfactory ending. I'm just wondering if they are going to be able to wrap all of these threads up or if they'll just let the aliens be a deus ex machina to clean up this mess.

Ian McShane was brilliant... but why can't they just tell us what's up with Arden's penis already?

Oh, just DAMMIT.  I had only gotten to watch the first five minutes of crazy Santa.  I had recorded it watch later and Mr. Elder Sis has somehow screwed up the DVR.  Whaaahhh.

I am so obsessed with this show, it's my favorite besides GoT of course. ;) I am an episode behind (darn finals!) but what can I say? Sister Jude is a bad ass, and I hope she puts Dr. Arden in his place :) I think her character is the most interesting.

Finding out who Bloodyface is..... was very shocking to me.

Do you get OnDemand with your cable?  You can watch the last few episodes of AHS anytime you want.

This episode was pretty good, I thought.  It had several squirm-in-your-seat scenes.  Seeing Sister Jude in the place so many others have been was not satisfying at all - which is surprising.  Well, okay.  Maybe for a second or two.  :)   Seeing Son of Bloody Face was chilling.  Just that whole situation with Lana, Thredson, and spawn is majorly creepy.

but WILL SOMEONE PLEASE KILL THAT FUCKING DEMON inhabiting Sister Mary Eunice?  Every time some uh-oh moment goes down, that friggin' demon is behind it!   She's really PISSING ME OFF.
