Someone noticed that like this option for posts is available again. Is this supposed to be permanent or will it be turned off again?

We're putting it on for the time being, having put in a script to help keep the reputation-related tables in full repair and optimization to avoid the problems we've had in the past with reputation introducing instability that takes down the whole site.

This is extremely neccessary.
Newbies should know which theories are strongest ones and which experienced user support those theories. When theres no like system, no new user with limited knowledge would know whether the post is legit/accurate etc or not. This is the goal of this forums right ? Sharing ideas and leading the most accurate ones.

Btw, like can be seen in Tapatalk but other reputation methods wont.

They should also be able to use the search function. The more threads on the same theory, the more popular it is usually.

And the likes the users get in those topic indicates the value of that topic.

Do you know how many L+R=J is out there ? How do you know which one is better to read. Sometimes we dont have time to read everything

The L+R=J topics continue each other, they are all the same thread split in many. And they also run in circles. In this case, you only need to read the last one. I never said you need to read everything, just see how many results your search brings.
