Was looking into getting Volume's 1 and 2. Anyone recommend it? Does it have a lot of information or is it just art of the characters, landscapes, etc?

Thanks in advance!

Volume 1 and 2 are art books. With sparse info on characters and houses. And sometimes a caption. If you love ASOIAF art. It's worth it. I own them.

I would start with getting the first one, which is gorgeous and well worth it.

After that you can always see if you want the second one.

I have both volumes and like them equally and can recommend them. In fact, given
all the top-notch Ice and Fire artwork that's appeared through various sources since these volumes were published, it's well past time for another artbook or two.
