I think you mean Americans. The numbers for The Vietnamese would be much bigger, and more evenly (though still uneven) balanced.

We are discussing American policy here I believe. It is in the title of the thread.

You have one fact, in this thread where men are discriminated against unfairly.  The Draft.
The THREAD is about the draft. Of course it is my focus. You say if a draft was re-instated, that women would be subject too. I think you are wrong. Why not start a poll to see what the others think?

And if you want to start a thread on which sex is favoured in the western world, I will be more than happy to particiapte.

I am sure that is some male plot, as well. Right?

And - women don't HAVE TO go through labour. In this part of the world - that is a choice.

My point about Starship Troopers was that one was a citizen, only if one served.

No matter how you slice it, jury duty is involuntary servitude...unless you enjoy being in a room chock full of idiots.
Oh. Trust me, no one would want me looking out for them in battle. I would run the other way. :P
So what. Jury duty just involves sitting in a room and maybe making a decision as part of a jury. Being in the army involves so much more. Because of that, I hope the draft doesn't happen since IMO it's unfair to force people who don't want to fight for whatever reason to do so.

It is still involuntary servitude...just not quite as unpleasant.

My personal experience, discussions with feminists, and what causes prominent feminists have supported are the basis for my opinion.

I suspect this sample size is too small to be statistically significant.
