Confession: I think that when I find a character 'boring' what's really going on is that I want to find out what happens to the characters I've just become invested in.  It's really hard to be interested in a new chapter when I'm craving more from the POV I just read.

I hate when Dan fans play the sexism card when other posters criticize Dany. I once responded to another poster who said Tyrion doesn't deserve Dany that it could also be said that Dany doesn't deserve Tyrion. The response was that statement was sexist. According to that poster, if you say Dany doesn't deserve Tyrion, that's sexist, but if you say Tyrion doesn't deserve Dany, that's okay; it's the application of a double standard.

I don't think any of the current contenders for the Iron Throne, including Stannis and Dany, will ever sit it in the end.

Slut-shaming Dany posts annoy me because it makes people who have legitimate beef with her look bad by association. I don't hate her because she has sex, I hate her because she makes terrible governing choices.

ETA: And yes, slut-shaming in general is bad. I just hate getting accused of misogyny for disliking a female character (although it hasn't happened as often as it used to, perhaps because the people who used to do it were banned ...).
