With regard to the Theon WINDS sample...

Quote

The chronology, as usual, is tricky. This chapter will be found eventually at the beginning of WINDS, but as you will be able to tell from context, it actually takes place before some of the chapters at the end of DANCE. ~ GRRM

I think this settles the question....

It is possible that the Theon sample chapter happend before a eventual battle beteween Stannis and Boltons, the battle the pink letter talks about

GRRM has said, he knows better

I've always read Victarion as Perlman. He would be perfect.

I concur, but GoT does not use American actors that are not named Peter Dinklage.

I pray that Ron Perlman will play Victarion, him or Ray Stevenson.
I've always pictured Victarion as Liam Neeson haha ... He has that sturdy and somewhat angry look to him.

It is only spoiling if the already-revealed chapters spoil each other, right? Otherwise it is simply an early sample.

I haven't read all the available material, but it seems to me that while they reveal a few significant plot developments, neither can be considered true spoling.
