That's what I meant when I threw tight ringlets out there...not to be nit-picky, just to imply I wouldn't mind seeing a Black, Latin, or biracial actress in the role. Ran was actually the one who brought it to my attention that GRRM mentioned Apollonia as his inspiration for the character. She definitely fits the pallet I'd envisioned.But, really, with these casting topics, it's just shots in the dark. In all honesty, I'd be fine with pretty much anyone people have thrown into the ring.Oh ya you bring up some good points I didn't catch that Apollonia part, I think that's a really good point now that I think about it African/Latin decent would be fantastic and add a little more diversity to the show. :agree: Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Arianne is dark, short, very curvy and voluptuous, with curly hair -- curly as in tight ringlets, not waves. Pinto is very waify to me, which has been my problem with a lot of the recommendations for Arianne. Arianne has to be a real bombshell.That's exactly why I want Antonia Thomas. She's short with a curvy figure, curly hair, full lips, and she can do sexy extremely well. I'm a straight girl, but I'd do her.And she proved she can do fragile and hurt well. Ned was supposed to be 35 in the book but was played by a 51-year-old; no idea how old he was supposed to be in the show.Anyway, Homeland's filming begins in May and GoT's begins in July, so there would be some overlap if one were to do both shows. The only way Baccarin gets the role is if Homeland ends with season 3, which would be nice (the show is still good IMO, but the story is in danger of getting ridiculous if it lasts too long) but unlikely.
