Werthead
This Is A Thing That Is Happening. From tomorrow until 7 April, Chicago's Lifeline Theatre is putting on a stage adaptation of Mieville's novel. Mieville himself (who recently moved to Chicago from London, apparently) will also be attending a combined performance/book signing event there on 16 March. Datepalm
China Mieville doesn't live in London? How does that work? Is that legal?

Lupigis
The City and the City is my favourite Mieville novel. I have my doubts about how it will work on the stage, but I would absolutely go to see the play if I lived in Chicago.
