Epilogue Guess

Seeing as someone has started a thread guessing what will happen in the TWOW prologue and its POV character, why not a thread for the epilogue?

I have two possibilites:

1) After having killed Tommen, Myrcella and Cersei Aegon has captured KL and is sitting on the It. But, in the epilogue, a commoner learns that Aegon is a Blackfyre and spreads the word but it gets traced to him and he is killed by the gold cloaks or the KG.

2) The Others are moving south and learn the location of the real Horn of Winter. They dig it out and get a captive to blow it, causing the Wall to collapse (this would be epic!)

What do you think?

I'm liking the Others. I feel that this may happen earlier though but if it is the epilogue, I'm thinking a broken Stannis after losing the North to the returning Rickon, wonders beyond the wall & blows the horn bringing down the wall & finally becoming a King "The Night King". Ok that probably is'nt going to happen.

Ramsey Brings down the wall.

I dont think Aegon will sit the Iron Throne. The Lannisters have a way of getting out of tight spots & I'm thinking they may sell Mrycella to Euron in exchange for killing Aegon. Euron will do this, marry Mrycella & slit Tommens throat making him king. Wishful thinking.

I'm going for a Benjen epilogue, I truly believe he is still alive.

I like Lord Stoneheart's guess in another thread of Wylla as a good use of an epilogue going into the "final" book (probably not DOS) - it would be interesting to see what we don't know about Jon's parentage, what the young Ned and Howland Reed were like, some TOJ details, what really happened at Dorne when Ned returned Dawn and spoke to Ashara Dayne, and maybe the trip back to Winterfell and the reaction Ned got when Jon came to WF. She might even solve (for me) whether Jon's real name is "Jon"; I've always wondered why Jon was choosen when Lyanna would have choosen the name (and she really has no connection to Jon Arryn anyways) . My crackpot guess is his name is a Targareon name that was changed by the Ned to hide Jon's identity.

Wylla has the potential to solve a few mysteries for us as readers and could set us up for the JS revelation and how some characters will react to the news.

If there will be an epilogue for the next book, I hope it's Littlefinger. Since there will be less game of thrones playing in the next books because of the threat of the Others, it's time to bid goodbye to our not-so-dear friend. But first, it would be nice to read what's going on in his mind.

If The Others don't attack during the book then I'd like it if a Nights Watchmen was on top of The Wall and looked out on to The Haunted Forest and see an army of Others running towards The Wall and he pisses himself.

He was named after Jon Connington...

Anyway I hope it has something to do with the Others. Swarming the Wall and the wall coming down... Although I'll probably start screaming at the book, I think that would be epic.

2 epilogues thus far...A Frey and a Lannister...the third will be a Bolton. Roose Bolton, being killed while fleeing Winterfell.

No, it will be impossible. Do you really believe that Winterfell will stay with the boltons for all of WoW?

He was named after Jon Connington...

Never thought about that. It makes a lot of sense so thank you.

The first will never happen. The second probably (20%), but with benjen as their captive. However, I believe that it is impossible for us to guess the epilogue chapter. Would have you known it will be a frey in SoS or Kevan in DoD

Whoa. I missed that one, too.

Good call. I like it. And it would really dramatically set up the next book.

I always assumed she died giving birth to him so she never go the chance to name him or at least tell Ned his name since anyone that would have known died in the war. Also assuming pattern is broken I like the watchman idea with one change being he pisses himself and then the wall collapses where he is standing from the horn.

The Others are south of the Wall. Harrold Hardying, having taken the Arryn name, leads thousands of riders in a calvary charge against them, speeding over the snow under the Arryn-Stark-Baelish-Tully banners. The Greatjon, the Blackfish, Leather, all the remnants of Stannis forces, the Mountain clans and the Magnar of Thenn ride by his side.

They all get mauled and killed. The Others descend upon the realms of men.

Danny is still in Mereen.

She got the chance to tell Ned to promise her something, and obviously had the chance to discuss what that promise entailed, so why wouldn't she have the chance to tell Ned his name?

After re reading bran ı in adwd I'm pretty positive coldhands is benjen..

Anywho, I think the prologue will be Khal jhago, he will be riding along and find dany and be drogons lunch, then mago will get the khalasar to follow her..

As for the epilogue, it'll be either ramsay of roose..
