"We saw that Stannis is not religious wants to use the power of the LoL to get on the throne.

And we saw again that Stannis is a man of his deed. He didn't ask for being King, hell maybe he didn't want to be King, but he has to be, so he does everything get there. Its his job. What a remarkable man"

NOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

It's starting to happen! Soon they'll have their own E-Ro and everything!

The way they portrayed the wedding was good, all things considered. The Unsullied don't think that Sansa is a bitch and some even say that Sansa handled it better than Tyrion. I think that the emphasis on Tyrion's drunkenness was a good idea. It was both hilarious and rather sad...

You must be new here.

Actually, I've been on the boards since '07, but 'E-Ro' is an abbreviation or name I'm not familiar with. Care to elaborate?

That's one change I wouldn't mind seeing. NO FPM please. :ack:

:agree: completely.

E-Ro is a poster, mostly in the book forums I think, who is an ardent supporter of Stannis. I think his mission is to turn all asoiaf fans into Stannis supporters.

Their suspicions of the Reeds cracks me up. I guess they [Reeds] act somewhat "suspicious", but just barely, and from their point of view they have to be on edge because there's potential enemies all around.

Still, the Unsullied's theory that Jojen is some White Walker agent is hilarious. And their crutch for this argument is that he's leading them north of the Wall, because there can be NOTHING else there, other than Walkers and Wildlings. Too funny. This is the first theory on there that has made it very hard for me not to interject.

Yeah, the introduction was strange. They made it this way because they didn't want to introduce too many characters in season 2. It was the same with the Boltons. I can understand this, but at the same times, it produces strange results sometimes.

BTW do the Unsullied realise that "Rains of Castamere" is the song that was played in the Blackwater episode last season? I'm wondering how they will react when the song is played at the wedding.

BTW2 I think that the Unsullied will love Stannis when he arrives at the Wall.

If they would've arrived at Winterfell last season with a few soldiers, and swore their little oath to Bran, they wouldn't be suspicious.

I kind of doubt that. The unsullied are overly untrusting of everybody.

Regular TV viewers aren't suspicious of the Reeds (and actually quite a few unsullied aren't either). The unsullied look to make predictions of doom everywhere. They don't like Jojen's magic. They would see it as a potential threat anyway,

Ah, here we go:

What I loved the most about this episode, and am suprised that no one mentioned so far, is that we got the backstory for The Rains of Castamere. I've just loved the song ever since it played in Season 2, and judging by Cersei's story, the wording is great.

And who are you, the proud lord said,

that I must bow so low?

Only a cat of a different coat,

that's all the truth I know.

A coat of gold, a coat of red,

the lion still has claws,

and mine are long and sharp, my lord,

as long and sharp as yours.

And so he spoke, and so he spoke,

that lord of Castamere,

and now the rains weep over his hall

with noone there to hear.

It essentially speaks of how the lord of House Rayn(sp?) thought himself on par with Lannisters and now, well, the rains weep over his hall and noone's there to hear. Great stuff.

:)

They do.

Judging from the comments in the unsullied thread,

- the show failed in the Stannis storyline. They seem to think that the leeching was what Mel intended all along, and not that it was the demonstration asked for by Davos and that in truth she wants to burn Gendry. That's what sometimes comes from not enough exposition... (also, are they shying away from male nudity now? Joe Dempsie has been nude on Skins, so that shouldn't have been the problem)

- the show made Daario too sympathetic. Probably because of the hate in the books they toned down the reasons Daario is not liked (f.e. his blue hair), but that just made him pretty likely as her next "love interest". They even already compared him to Drogo. Also, the show took some agency away in comparison with the books, but well...

- Tyrion's wedding however seemed to have worked very well for the show. The unsullied do hit all the right notes in their comments so far (though they haven't seen that Cersei's Rains of Castamere story is very unelegantly and clunky put in 'forshadowing', but that's okay).

Now let's see what they make of the episode over two weeks :)
