Most Emotional Moments.

There are lot of moments:

The Purple Wedding. Jaime pushing Bran. Oberyn VS Gregor. Quentyns death. "Egg, I dreamed that I was old." and more.

The ones that really got me:

1- The Red Wedding. Obviously :bawl:

2- Sansa escaping Kings Landing. I was overwhelmed with joy!

3- Theon and Jeyne escaping Winterfell. And then: "Sister. See. This time I knew you". "My name is Theon. You have to know your name."

4- Dany's final chapter in AGOT

5- And from TWOW Arianne:

It was not her father's kisses nor his hoarse words that made her eyes glisten, but the effort that brought him to his feet, his legs trembling under him, his joints swollen and inflamed with gout. Standing was an act of love. Standing was an act of faith.

And :crying:

His voice broke when he said that. "Where are the dragons?" he asked. "Where is Daenerys?" and Arianne knew that he was really saying, "Where is my son?" :bawl:

There are a lot of moments.

I got quite a jolt when Bran got pushed out of the window.

I got chills at the Whispering Wood when Grey Wind howled just before they charged.

I teared up when Syrio said 'The First Sword of Braavos does not run', knowing he was ready to die.

I got chills again when Robb was acclaimed King in the North.

I felt for Rickon yelling that everyone was going away and leaving him.

I teared up when Arya was finally recognized by her father's old Master of Horse.

Arya stabbing the Tickler was also a big moment for me.

I got chills again when Doran Martell said 'Fire and blood'.

Happy moments? Um...are there any happy moments in asoiaf???

- "Edd, Fetch me a block"

- Wylla Manderly's outburst

- Edmure letting the smallfolk into Riverrun was incredibly heartwarming ("They're my people. They were afraid")

"No, not my hair, Ned loves my hair..." + Red Wedding.

"Egg, I dreamed that I was old" + all Aemon's lines.

Eddard's execution.

Arya seeing her dead mother while warging.

Every time when Sandor Clegane cried...

Ygritte's death.

Sansa's mental maturation/increment. I sympathize her a lot, so it's amazing to see, how she is growing and learning for her mistakes.

In the end, she is just scared and innocent little girl, abused and ruined by other's actions.

I forgot this one:

In ACOK, when Tyrion tells Cersei that Stannis is marching towards Renly. She laughs, then hugs him and then dances with him IIRC.

I was so happy to see them like this together, and Im very sad at the same time seeing that their relationship became even worse later on.

I really liked that moment too.

But then Tyrion slips some poison in her wine.

Way to kill the moment Tyrion :bang: .

I think he wasnt happy that he had to do it after having that moment as well.

I think he wasnt happy that he had to do it after having that moment as well.

If I recall properly, he said something like "He felt almost sorry for poisoning her".

That's how my initial distaste of Tyrion begun, I think...

Maester Aemon's decline and death were sad, but Sam's eulogy ... hells, I was afraid I was going to short out the Kindle with my tears.

And just about any time Hodor says "Hodor," I have to smile.

Wow, a lot. So Ned's death was a big one, obviously.

The whole "what do we say to the God of death?"

Mhysa moment

Cat's breakdown. "it tickles" *shudder* I don't know if I'm impressed that Martin can write someone's loss of sanity so well or scared.

"It was not dead, just broken. Like me, he thought. I’m not dead either."

Every time Jon thinks about Arya/ vice versa

Catelyn's first undead hanging/revenge. I don't know what that scene made me feel, but I felt a lot of it."

"She don't speak. You bloody bastards cut her throat too deep for that. But she remembers."

"Reek, Reek, it rhymes with weak..."

"Valar Morghulis" and Arya reclaiming Needle from the Tickler.

"Dracarys"

"Tywin Lannister did not, in the end, shit gold." That just made me happy

And of course

"And for the first time in hundreds of years, the night came alive with the music of dragons."
