I’ve learned that actor James Gandolfini died suddenly in Italy after a suspected heart attack. He was 51. Gandolfini will be forever known for his portrayal of mob boss Tony Soprano on the seminal HBO series The Sopranos, which won him three Emmy Awards. He remained in business with the pay cable network and was in pre-production on a new limited series, Criminal Justice, one of several projects he had in the works.
RIP James Gandolfini

Wow. I don't normally feel attached enough to actors to comment on their passing, but RIP James Gandolfini. He played magnificent bastards.
Same man. This fucking sucks. He was seriously one of the greatest living actors in my opinion. Fifty-one is way too young, I actually thought he was older than that. RIP.

It would be nice if people were given an hour to grieve before the dickery begins.

And sure, he wasn't in a good shape, but life is uncertain, and shit can happen to everyone. It's not sure his weight was to do with.
You never know what happens. and 51 ain't that old.
It will be a little sad watching the show now, knowing he's dead. He was a great actor, and will always be remembered for bringing one of the most complex and best characters created to screen, and it would be nothing without his performance. I definitely agree he was one of the best actors around, and definitely on of my favorites.
Edit: being in shape might have been the wrong use of words. At a healthy weight should probably be used insttead.

Really shocked by this, right when he was really cementing his post-sopranos career.
Such an incredible actor, he brought phenomenal realism to every character he played; I was eagerly awaiting whatever he was going to do next
