I think the only reason for her existence is to show a softer side of Arya.. to show that Arya is caring and empathetic, not just a rough and tough tom-boy. That's just my theory. False Aegon Posted December 1, 2015 Share Posted December 1, 2015 I agree with the others - she's not terribly important to the plot, but she helps to develop the character and the situation. Her total fear-paralysis shows just how truly awful a spot the kids are in, and there is probably a part of Arya that would love to respond to it the way Weasel does.
