Diziet
198) Mark Lawrence (250,000+) From ML's blog, Why didn't a trilogy that has sold over 400,000 copies in English and is still going strong sell less than 1% of that number in Spanish? National taste? Marketing? I really don't know.

Werthead
Sales of The Lies of Locke Lamora by itself have passed 500,000 worldwide. I know Republic of Thieves also sold 40,000 copies in the UK alone, mostly in hardcover, in its first year on sale (where we almost are now) which is exceptionally good. Werthead
Sales of The Hunger Games have passed 65 million in the USA alone, likely putting worldwide sales at 100 million plus. Amazon reports that its lifetime sales of the Hunger Games have now surpassed that of Harry Potter, which is interesting (although Amazon wasn't quite as ubuiquitously huge as they are now when the last HP book came out seven years ago). Harry Potter has still sold about 450 million copies worldwide, but that's of seven books compared to three. If the momentum continues (especially if Collins writes additional sequels), Hunger Games could overtake HP in at least sales-per-book in a few years. Crazy. Mark Lawrence
On my ARC of Fool's Assassin it says Robin Hobb has sold more than a million copies of Assassin's Apprentice in the UK alone. But of course that doesn't allow you to up your 1 million+ estimate for her sales of all books everywhere :)

Werthead
So why aren't you including magical realism on this? Because we'd be arguing until the cows come home if it counts or not. Plus getting sales figures for those kind of authors is even more difficult than for others.
