With 25 deaths, this season vaguely edges out season 1 but comes behind season 2. The mayorgot the most with three direct kills, with Mr. Trick and Faith coming up next, but there wasn't as much of a main cause of death as in Season 2.

S3E06: Band Candy

SAT's in the graveyard.

"What!? I can't have layers!?"

And they're forced to sell chocolate for the marching band.

Oddly enough the only marching band I've ever seen is norwegian. THey come over for the summers for god knows what reason.

"Don't you think Mr. Giles is monopolizing a bit too much of your time?"
"And does he ever say he's sorry?"
"Ow!"
"Sorry"

Ah, so she's doing the entire "Tell person A that you're with Person B tell person B you're with person A" thing?

Ah, Angel is doing shirtless Tai Chi. As you do.

And Buffy thinks that's totally hot.

Where did he ever learn tai-chi anyway? He was a bum before, and I doubt Angelus would have the patience for it.

Giles is totally Buffy's dad at this point.

Oh dear. Ethan. And he's warning people about the candy.

Let me guess, they make everyone act like children or something?

Oh dear. They're trying to relive their past as hippies.

Principal Snyder being all drugged up is hilarious.

Giles younger self is a total dweeb.

Ah, Babies. Of course that's the tribute.

Why do I have the feelig shooting Ethan would have been a better move in the long run?

The Mayor is concerned about infrastructure during his demonic sacrifice. A definite plus.

And Buffy burns the crappy CGI snake.

And some finishing awkwardness.

Funny episode overall, Snyder steals the show, although most of the adults playing kids are fun.

I think one of my favourite lines from Band Candy. Is delivered beautifully by Principal Snyder
"Whoa Summers! You drive like a spaz."

Where did he ever learn tai-chi anyway? He was a bum before, and I doubt Angelus would have the patience for it.

He took a level in 'brooding hero,' a better question has already been posed by the show, where do all the vampires learn their innate martial arts skills? They just die as nobodies and wake up with (basic) fighting skills.

Giles is totally Buffy's dad at this point.

He's a much better dad than Buffy's dad.

The Mayor is concerned about infrastructure during his demonic sacrifice. A definite plus.

I love the Mayor. 'And boys, let's watch the swearing.'

I like to think that absolutely everyone in Sunnydale takes martial arts classes for self-defence purposes due to all the mysterious disappearances, violent murders and roving "gangs on PCP".

One assumes at some point during his post-re-souled period. He wasn't a bum the whole time.

Though even when EVIL he was surprisingly sofisticated in many ways. It's a bit of a contrast with his in-your-face personality, but it never bothered me.

S3E07: Revelations

Willow and Xander are still being nervous over their UST:

Faith's got a new Watcher.

Are all Watchers british?

And now for some touchy-Tai-Chi.

SMG must be tiny or DB huge.

Xander and Willow are still at it.

... And faith attacks... Something that carries an axe.

Whoops, looks like Buffy's secret is out. Bad Angel, don't go traipsing around tombs where Xander can see you!

Ah, glove.

And they're really doing the entire enforced celibacy thing? Really?

Aaand, now the entire "Liar Revealed" thing, gah.

Willow is using one of those Conflict Resolution thingis. Heh.

Heh, staging an intervention.

Giles is (understandably) harsh, but I can't help feel this is dragging on.

New Watcher Person is awfully familiar a times. Is it just the britishness or has she actualy done something?

... And Willow is totally talking about other secrets.

And Giles gets sucker-punched.

"I want you to be the first to know that there's a demon behind you."

The demon looks like they raided the surplus Klingon costumes from TNG:

Angel's doing magic thingies.

Annnd... Everyone gets there at the same time and starts fighting.

And Ms. Post is all glovey.

Lightning!

And the end.

Death List:
Ricky (Drunk Drain Cleanser after aging)
Partygoer (Necksnapped by Zombie)
Pat (Eaten by Zombies)
Fast Food guy (Eaten by limo)
Pizza Guy (eaten by Mr. Trick & Pals)

If anything in this world has convinced me to try Tai Chi, it's Angel /blushing.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':blushing:' />

According to a hilariously argumentative website I found called 'celebehights' He's about 6' He doesn't appear as massive in Angel as the cast seem to be generally taller. But he's really 'wide' I'm not sure if that's the right word. He just seems to have enormous shoulders. *be still my beating heart* According to the same website SMG is about 5'2''-5'3''.

Alexis Denisov (Wesley) has been in tons, but most recently he was the leader of the aliens in the avengers.

Wrong watcher. Revelations' watcher is Gwendolyn Post, played by Serena Scott Thomas. She has not has as an extensive a career as Alexis Denisov, although she did sleep with James Bond in The World Is Not Enough.

ETA: Speaking of Alexis, even more recent than The Avengers was his turn as Benedick in Whedon's Much Ado About Nothing (which was amazing).

I saw SMG in Toronto once, in the Chapters on Bloor Street before it merged with Indigo. I think she was there buying Goblet of Fire. I guess celebs stay in Yorkville area when in town. I was standing at the magazine rack and noticed her only when she squeezed passed me without touching, and there was barely any room. I looked around and saw her bodyguard, who was about the size of Huell on Breaking Bad. Until I saw him the vague idea (more of a fantasy, really) of pretending not to know who she is and flirting with her crossed my mind. But I swear I heard a record scratch, and walked away slowly.

@ SpaceChampion I admit I laughed out loud at the "swear I heard a record scratch" comment. I could totally picture it. Also similar things have happen to me.

Also I follow Alyson Hannigan (Willow) And Alexis' wife) on twitter. She announced that Alexis has be cast in season 3 of Grimm. I watch Grimm so I'm excited to see a familiar face in the show.

As for SMG She is in an upcoming fall show with Robin Williams. Exercising her comedy acting chops. In a show called The Crazy Ones

Her sister is Kristen Scott Thomas, which is I think where the familiarity comes from. They favor each other.

She is very tiny. I think early on in the series she wears a lot of heeled footwear to look taller but gets away from it later on in the series.

S308: Lover's Walk

"That was my sarcastic voice."
"You know, it sounds a lot like your regular voice."
"I've been told that."

So Buffy did well on a test, which causes anxiety?

Oh, look! Spike's back!

That was a callback to his first appearance, right? Although now he seems more.. of a bum.

Why is he beating up a wooden thingie?

D'aww, Oz and WIllow are cute.

"When she saw this (the test results) her head spun around and exploded."
".. I've been on the Hellmout to long, that was metaphorical, right?"

"You're turned on by rented shoes?"

...Angel i reading Sartré. In french.

Honestly, I find him hilarious, he's such an obvious... Brooding Good Vampire Boyfriend thingie. Most of the stuff he does makes me laugh because it's so ridicilious.

Drunk Spike is drunk and dumped.

Too bad, I like his dynamic with Drusilla, it was very gothic.

...And he fell asleep and the sun put his hand on fire... /tongue.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':P' />

The Mayor is hilarious.

"I'd sell my soul for a better golf-game... Of course, it's a little bit too late."

Spike attack! In the middle of Willow's ill-fated attempt at a de-lusting spell.

"She didn't care enough to cut of my head or put me on fire!"

...And Spike repeats his whine to Joyce /tongue.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':P' />

"Xander's a witch!?"

"What if they were kidnapped by Columbian drug lords!?"

"Is this some kind of residual werewolf thing? This is very disturbing!"
"I agree."

... Bad timing for making out Willow and Xander.

Oh come on, that was a terrible fake-out death worthy of George himself!

Great episode! Funny and with some character development without getting terribly mopey. Probably my fave. ep. of Season 3 thus far.

Death List:
Ricky (Drunk Drain Cleanser after aging)
Partygoer (Necksnapped by Zombie)
Pat (Eaten by Zombies)
Fast Food guy (Eaten by limo)
Pizza Guy (eaten by Mr. Trick & Pals)

Jeff (Terribly Mauled)
Mr. Platt (lost his eyes)
Debbie (Domestic Abuse)
Pete (Killed by a Feral Angel)
Two germans (friendly fire)
Assembly Line worker (necksnap by boss)
Ms. Post (tampered with gloves man was not meant to wear
Magic shop proprietor (Eaten by Spike)
