Dragonman1979
He was the closest to Rhaegar of any other Character. Was probably in love with him. My question is would JonCon recognize Jon Snow as Rhaegar's son if they met. Someone as close to Rhaegar as JonCon was might see traits or mannerisms in Snow that others would never see. What do you guys think? Was this foreshadowed when Brienne made the connection with Gendry?

Jon has had plenty of time to learn new habits and mannerism from the Stark household and then in the Night's Watch. And if I remember he kind of looks like a Stark very much. Thus I don't think that Jon Connington would have any reason to think that Jon Snow is Rhaegar's son. And even if JonCon knew that Lyanna was pregant he would probably think it more likely that the child was dead and that Jon is in fact Eddard's bastard. Consigliere
JC and Rhaegar were not bosom buddies except in JC's mind. JC was sent into exile after the Battle of the Bells in 283AL which was also the same year that Jon was born. I dont see any possibility of JC being able to recognise Jon. Victor227
There was the ironic line back in the first book that 'whomever Jon Snow's mother was, she left very little of herself in him', regarding his pure Stark looks.
uptowngbv
Cersei mentions that she saw Jon Snow at Winterfell. She never mentioned a likeness to Rhaegar.
Lost Melnibonean
Hasn't GRRM told us his characters see what they believe? JonCon suspects the truth of Aegon's identity but he wants so much for it to be true. We have been led to believe that Jon looks like a Stark. Why would JonCon think any differently?
