I don't think we'll get a bullet-proof confirmation either way. Is Jon still alive?Yes, warged into Ghost If so, will Jon have found out his true heritage by the end of TWOW (and how)?No. What role will Dorne play?Open the Gates of King's Landing to Aegon. Kill one of Dany's dragons. Keep her too busy to bother Stannis right away. What role will the Iron Islands play? Victarion provides the fleet for Dany's invasion. Euron keeps the Tyrells too busy to oppose Aegon & his Dornish allies; attacks Oldtown, might get temporarily defeated by Aegon at some point to make Aegon the people's darling, takes over Casterly Rock. (All my favourite crackpot theories are about Euron: he's a greenseer too; he's going to kidnap Sam; he'll marry Cersei; he's been working with Littlefinger; he'll sit the Iron Throne at some point. There's admittedly little to no basis whatsoever to any of them. He's just been the most boring character in the books to me so far, so I'm desperately trying to come up with storylines that might make him a little bit interesting before he dies. Anyway, I'm pretty confident that he won't die in TWOW). Asha helps Justin Massey to get ships for Stannis. Theon gets warged by Bran so that Bran can show Stannis the way into the crypts of Winterfell. The Damphair gets eaten by a kraken. Which mystery/theory would you most like to be solved in TWOW?Jaqen H'ghars mission. What the citadel is up to. What the Faceless Men are up to. What Rhaegar was up to. Why Littlefinger wanted those damn tapestries. And what's the deal with those copper pennies nailed to the big oak in Pennytree? Will any Starks be reunited in TWOW?Sansa and Arya. Will Dany have reached Westeros by the end of TWOW?I'd say... at least she will have left Essos by the end of TWOW. Will The Others have invaded Westeros by the end of TWOW?Depends on what "invasion" actually means, or what the Others' true motives are... I believe they'll have reached the Wall, there will be a battle at the Wall and they'll breach through and advance to the Neck at least. Who will be on the Iron Throne by the end of TWOW?Aegon perhaps Who will hold Winterfell by the end of TWOW?Stannis What mysteries will Sam uncover in Oldtown?More about the Others and the Long Night, Valyrian sorcery, maybe something about dragons and the Faceless Men as well. Much and more hopefully. Will Cersei win her trial?Yes Is Aegon fake?He's not a purebred Targ but he has some dragon (Blackfyre) blood in him. Is Jon still alive?Definitely. Jon lives in Ghost. If so, will Jon have found out his true heritage by the end of TWOW (and how)?I think the readers will find out in the next book but maybe Jon will have to wait a bit longer... What role will Dorne play?Take King's Landing. There will be an epic Martell vs. Tyrell battle. Seat Aegon on the throne but not for a long time (Dany will arrive shortly after and the dragons will dance). What role will the Iron Islands play?Victarion takes Dany and her people to Westeros and provides the means to take Dragonstone and then King's Landing.Euron takes Oldtown and maybe even advances to Highgarden. The Tyrells will be caught between two battles.Asha helps Stannis and looks after her little brother. Which mystery/theory would you most like to be solved in TWOW?The Alchemist. The Tyrell plot. The Faceless Men plot (if such thing exists). Everything about Robert's Rebellion and the Long Night. Will any Starks be reunited in TWOW?Possibly Bran and Jon.
