  1. Oh hell, I was still so busy grieving Hodor that I didn't even think of that.
  2. I think Lady Waynwood knows and has dropped hints to Harry that there is more to "Alayne" than is presented, but I think it's a moot point, as I don't believe this scheme will go anywhere.   Seriously, has there been a time in this series where a character says, "X and Y will happen and this will result in Z." ?
  3.   I was remarking on Chris Daw's comment "LF's primary role is that of Sansa's tutor, and that's nearly done, but there's a chance he sticks around to clash wills with the Spider." Little does Littlefinger know, Varys spent the last few years building up an immunity to iocane powder.  :cool4:
  4.   I love Queen Elizabeth as well. I've studied her a lot. But aside from the red hair, everyone trying to marry her, and the creepy stepfather wanting to molest her, she and Sansa have little in common, especially personality-wise.
  5.   What if the part in the Alayne chapter about her telling the story of Marillion pushing Lysa out the Moon door so often she comes to believe it is the "more important mis-memory?"   I hope not, but....
  6.   I know, right? Commence "Stannis is warged crackpot:: LOL!
  7.   Hell, it's STILL fairly common now. Oh and I found an article about the history of the practice. It seems it only went on for little over a decade. But it sure left a lasting impression! http://www.slate.com/articles/news_and_politics/explainer/2012/04/etan_patz_case_why_did_dairies_put_missing_children_on_their_milk_cartons_.html
  8.   Actually I think they quit doing that in the 80's.... at least in my area. I've never seen missing children on a milk carton except on TV and in movies.
  9. Honestly, I disliked Stannis since he made Maester Cressen wear Patchface's bucket on his head.
  10. I'm still holding out hope that SHOW! Stannis will decide that there's also power in Queen's blood...or that for SHOW! reasons, Selyse magically has King's blood too. I'd like that deviation.
  11. With the way the show's going, probably Lancel... which could ruin him testifying against Cersei.
  12. That was my favorite bit too. Now I'm REALLY hoping to see Rory as a "guest star" in the opening credits of one of the next episodes... Or at least have him back next season.
  13. My theory is that yes, Selyse tries to sacrifice Shireen, but Stannis decides to burn Selyse instead. :D
  14. The reappearance of Jaqen was definitely the highlight of the episode. Quickly followed by Sam's snark to Slynt. :D
  15. Since season 3 I've been viewing the show as entertaining fan fiction. Therefore, I absolutely LOVE the return of Jaqen. Bronn and Lollys. It just amused me. And I loved the Brienne/ Pod scenes ...except for Brienne loudly announcing Sansa's identity. Doesn't she know Sansa is a fugitive? But I did like watching her hack the crap out of LF's knights and her and Pod's campy interactions. I like campy with TV. I like that Dany isn't being portrayed as a Mary Sue anymore. I also like that the former slaves are now shown as multi-racial instead of all dark skinned like the dreaded crowd-surfing scene (which was too corny for me). And Braavos looked awesome And I LOVE show Shireen! No glorified rape scenes. What I didn't like: Arya's scenes being boring until the end, Ellaria being blended into too many contradictory characters The Lord Commander election (Aside from Sam snark and Maester Aemon) Seriously, they have the cgi budget for dragons, the 3-eyed crow, etc, but not for talking ravens? Mormont's raven is one of my favorite side characters. Tyrion and Varys pretty much doing nothing with Tyrion bitching about it. Though that tone did follow the book, lol.
