  1. This has been going on for so long. I have worked over 20 years in children's mental health and I was trying to ring a bell about stuff like this like over 10 years ago. No one is really ready to deal with it.
  2. Thread title still sucks. It is neither pithy or informative, now it just feels salty.
  3. On phone, just replying to the last bit, can't delete the best I think you know me well enough and what I do too know that that is highly unlikely.
  4. That not feeling guilty about things seems to ring so true. It is very seductive, my hope is that they do have that guilty feeling which is something you can touch and move the needle on a bit.
  5. Nah, things wax and wane. You're too young to be this cynical. And post too much to believe that. And too smart to fall for the powers that want you to believe that.
  6. That comes to where my thoughts are right now. Plus, we're at war with growing fascism and for the more vulnerable of the people in our country one of the at minimum things I can do us to lend my voice to the party not actively pursuing it in the form of voting.
  7. I'm not sure what Dean Phillips is thinking with this. I'm happy he was able to unseat Eric Paulsen
  8. I have a Chevy Bolt Euv that holds its charge well and is absolutely quiet. I love it.
  9. I agree with you, I wouldn't be surprised if it gets to the point where somewhere like California just kind of tells the Supreme Court, "No, now enforce it."
  10. Yeah, this decision is really wild in my mind. They really opened a floodgate of bad stuff that is going to be done in their name. Enjoy that Legacy Roberts.
  11. That is essentially what Sotayamor (sp) said in her dissent.
  12. It is such a torturous ruling especially how they attempted to dance around this decision not justifying denying a black person the same services.
  13. Walz's executive order turning MN into a trans safe state for gender affirming care is now law. https://thehill.com/homenews/state-watch/3975501-minnesota-governor-signs-bills-protecting-reproductive-gender-affirming-care-banning-conversion-therapy/
  14. Those were beautiful words. The world is sadder with her passing, but our lives have been made a little brighter for her touching them. I didn't know her well timmett and I know these words are late. I'm sorry for your loss.
  15. Nice job! That looks good. I haven't played with uploading assets yet. I am enjoying 5e more than the Pathfinder system as a DM, I am finding it to be a little less to manage and easier to balance things. Even low level creatures can be threatening to higher level players depending on the abilities of the creature.
  16. I will give Wonderdraft a shot. They really updated inkarnate over the past year or so, it is, well, easier for me to use it to create my fantasy cartographer maps than to draw and scan.
  17. Also, separate note. Inkarnate is a fun map making tool with a free option, that works well, and it's paid option is great, along with being super cheap. I use it to design fantasy maps and whatnot all the time, so if you are looking for something like that, check it out.
  18. Yeah, always my philosophy as well. Anytime I run a module or something from somewhere else, I always stressed this was Guy's Version and not necessarily the version that everyone else knew. In part, I just didn't have it in me to learn the rules and to learn all the lore details. I remember when I ran Dragon Heist, I said the same thing, this is going to be Guy's Verision of Waterdeep as several of my players had a ton more knowledge of the Forgotten Realms than I. It usually works out. I only had one person ever had a problem with it and I invited them to go look for a different game.
  19. Whenever I play in someone else's Sandbox I remind my players that this is Guy Kilmore's version of XYZ and might not match up to what you know. So, for Relic, there, at least lore wise,is no wrong way to DM Relic's Eberron. I am sure you are killing it.
  20. I would love to, but don't have the time, settling into a new job and all. (Might be even moving on to another new job.) I might live vicariously through the board though, how is it going? A friend also wanted to run something, but very catch as catch can when it comes to meeting up, but I am trying Ars Magica up. I have always been curious about that system.
