I think you could definitely make the argument that this finale found the ideal middle ground between the "comedown" finales of the first three seasons and the "repeated climax" finales of the last couple of season. In terms of shear number of great scenes I still think The Children from S4 is hard to beat but I felt the flow of this episode was more successful.
