So much derp. Terrible ending, and I blame D&D.

Made my husband (hasn't read the novels) cry the last 11 minutes of the episode- so I'll give it a 9... Not a 10- because HBO and GRRM made my hubby cry!:shocked:

When the function first came up and people started giving their opinion (in the first thread) I said I didn't like the new post rating system and joked about democracy. I was told by the king (no less) that if I didn't like it I could leave... I still don't like the system, I voiced my opinion and am still here. If it stays I'll continue to enjoy (or get frustrated with) the conversations, and if some lazy person isn't up to writing out their agreement or dissagreement that's their issue. I personally will continue to have conversations. In the end really, what's the point of the ballyhoo? Its up to Ran if its to change or be eliminated. Leaving the site is a choice a person can make, but I really doubt if people will leave en masse. Although it is nice to be heard, and hope to post in a democratic monarchy. :-)

Anyway, I've been posting too long (comparitively) not to be a proper Westeros party member and would never even think of having an alternate identity. :shocked: That's just sad. Back on the subject though, dont we already have a short and sweet system of agreeing or disagreeing? The emoticons: :thumbsup: :thumbsdown: :agree: :bang: :bs: etc... And it takes care of the anonymity issue with nowhere to hide. No point system though, but who really cares about that. Edit: Yay, I've used up my emoticons for the year on this post.

This I'm sure is a stupid question, but what is an alt? I know what a troll is, I've been a victim of troll behavior (and have been called one for stupid questions like this), but never heard of an alt. Seriously. :ohwell:

No, they're causing nastier arguments- so much so that they've been deleted by MOD's. I know, I was in one. But despite that, I voted to change the system if it must be around. Do I think it adds anything to this board? No. But if it ends up staying it does need some work, and loose the anonymity. Personally, I haven't used the feature it at all. Woops, that's a lie- I neg'ed Ran, just to see how it feels. I also clicked on Ran being evil incarnate button... 'Cause it was fun. :D

Really? Is this for sure??? I don't know, can he handle the acting? I've seen him in movies, but his roles were never particularly a stretch of thespian gymnastics. He's the first casting choice I'd be dissapointed with, but so far they've had excellent choices so I wont cry...Too much.

I knew her when she was my neighbor years ago. She's very nice and we talked alot about film (I worked in the industry too), but it was hard to stay in touch. There are too few female DP's, aside from that she's incredibly talented and her style of gritty realism I think would go well with the series.

OMG! That would be brilliant! Think of Rowan Atkinson in Black Adder=wickedly talented man. But then I think of how amazing Hugh Laurie was (pre House), and don't get me started...

Ralph Finnes would be great at any of the roles, as well as Gabriel Byrne, Daniel Day- Lewis. But will this happen- probably not. :-(
