Dragonstar

Yeah this was such a disappointment. Last episode was so operatic, this was just a series of disjointed filler. I've never been a rabid Stannis fan but really he comes across as sort of a twit. Angry, brooding twit with not a single self originating thought. Dany's final scene was so flat and overly choreographed. Why dwell on Sam, Ginny & Aemon. Why the Ygritte scene? Two aspects I liked: Arya & the Lannister scenes. My 4 year old sounds like Jeoffrey when he's throwing a tantrum - I'm NOT tired. And all dialog between Tywin, Tyrion & Cersei are pure gold. Gave it a 3

I think it was ok from the standpoint that it gave all the characters more life and depth. Including OSha. However it was clearly an episode that was filled with set ups for future episodes. I do th that Talisa being pregnant and George having written this episode is of some plot significance to the books. Overall though, I'd say a 6.

I just LOVE Blackfish. I'm searching for the name of the actor who plays him. He's not familiar to me. I think he absolutely nails it. Couldn't be happier with the casting of one of my favorite characters.

Thought it was great how much literal and figurative ground they covered in one episode.
