  1. I don't even see the point in discussing the episodes anymore. Certain people hate the way the show has gone, others think that legacy book readers are too negative and that the show is the best things since sliced bread... and never the twain shall meet.
  2. I give it a 2 because I liked Cersei's walk of shame. Other than that the entire episode was a farce.
  3. Not sure why everyone is making such a big deal about the final scene. I thought it was a fantastic scene and fit right in with the context. What did you think would happen to Sansa on her wedding night? That somehow she transforms into superhero Sansa, Black Widow, and takes Ramsay down? To be honest, she's been lucky so far not to have been abused or raped yet. Is everyone mad because she didn't fight? Is it because after seeing her become a bit more cynical and devious that you thought she could somehow get out of this? I thought she did well as a character and as an acting performance from Sophie Turner. As a character, yes, she has learned from LF. She has learned to be patient, to bide her time, to wait for the perfect moment before you strike. What do you expect her to do? Knife Ramsay in the throat and then get executed by Roose? No, she is waiting, patient, and she will strike when she needs to. This was foreshadowed just moments before when she tells Ramsay's lover (forgot her name) I'm Sansa Stark of Winterfell and you can't scare me. She wasn't scared. She knew what she had to do. It doesn't make it right, it doesn't make it easy to watch, but I think it fit in well. And come on Alfie Allen deserves praise. His look of absolute horror and suffering was fantastic. That scene was powerful. The Dorne scene was pathetic. Everything about it was childish. Let's all just stroll into this garden and capture a princess. Then have a very badly filmed fight. Then a bunch of guards come and surround us. That took like forever. Then Ellaria just looks around with her deer caught in headlights stare and gets surrounded. Bad bad bad. If anything the Dorne scenes are the real travesty in this episode.
  4. 6/10. Although they have cut out loads of stuff from the books to make it flow better and get more action in, it just feels like nothing is happening this season. A bunch of set up each episode, with some boobs every now and then. Boring so far.
  5. I think I finally understand the thing about his accent changes after reading the interview here. When he is relaxed and with people who know him on a personal intimate level he speaks with that rough edge. When he is speaking to lords or in some kind of formal situation he polishes up his speech. It all makes sense now.
  6. Solid 9. Except for the clunky Dreadfort 'invasion' everything was solid. The acting was good, especially from Alfie, but the scene and concept were poor.
  7. Sure. These are the things that bugged me most: - The guy who plays Littlefinger, his acting has become atrocious. His accent changes from episode to episode. He needs to chill the fuck out. - I'm bored of Sansa making her doe eyes. Although there is a small hint that she is going to start picking up how to be a masterclass bitch soon. - Jaime's character is all fucking wrong now. Because of last week's rape scene and this week's Bring me Sansa's head on a plate invented scene, it looks like he's sending Brienne off to do his dirty work for him. The significance of the Oathkeeper is lost. - Emilia Clarke only has one facial expression. - Bran meets the traitors? Why? Why? Why? Adding scenes to make things better is fine but I found it to be useless. Let's add some drama pointlessly sort of thing. - The easy reveal that QoT was behind the murder. Pointless. Well, except for making Margaery Tyrell look completely clueless. - The completely fake scene where Jon reveals he knows that Bran is beyond the wall because , I guess, Sam told him. Push your shit plot forward D&D. Push it. Till it hurts. The one good scene here was the Margaery & Tommen bed scene. That's as far as I would go. And even that was dumb because she got past the Kingsguard way too easily.
  8. One of the worst episodes so far. I almost hated every minute of it.
