  1. TitanCon 2016: Fri 30 Sept - Sun 2 Oct

Hi Pebble Yes I got them both, but I was away on holiday myself last week so it wasn't possible to reply. Don't worry, I am back now and will reply to them directly.
  2. TitanCon 2016: Fri 30 Sept - Sun 2 Oct

Hi Jaemi Have you checked out the Hotels page on the TitanCon website: http://titancon.com/2016/hotels.php There are plenty of fairly decent hostels close to our venue in Belfast. Or perhaps someone else on here is looking for a room mate and is willing to share with you. Sharing is a good way to bring the cost down. Try talking some friends into coming over, the more the merrier.

You can buy a full membership NOW and the hotel booking code will be in your confirmation email. You can then separately buy a Coach Tour ticket on a later date after they go on sale. There is no benefit to waiting until after the Coach Tour tickets go on sale to buy your convention membership. By the way folks - I'm going to announce the Coach Tour details at lunch time today!

Sorry for the doom and gloom thread, TTTNE is supposed to be a haven away from such nonsense. Spam on!

Well the £ has just suffered the worst one day deprecation of any currency in history and is quite likely to trigger another world recession worse than the financial crisis of 2008. Just take a look at the financial markets, Wall Street included, to see what's going on. A lot of the people who voted Leave will probably just think "yeah take that bankers, time you suffered too" not realising the full implications this has on businesses, jobs, the cost of things, investments, everyone and everything. Perhaps they believe it could not be any worse than it was before, but if they thought austerity was bad I don't think they've seen anything yet. The saddest thing is seeing the newspapers that were pro-Brexit celebrating like they won something special. Well that £350m a week they were hoping to stop giving the EU and spend elsewhere, we just lost 6 years worth of that money in about 6 hours....
