Peter Dinklage and Lena Headey both deserve an Emmy for this episode. And even though I'm not a big Stannis fan, I have to admit, Stannis was pretty BA in this episode...

I never knew how to pronounce Ygritte before (While reading I'd always say "Ya-Greet"). So now I know....

Yes! He is being portrayed perfectly! I think I gasped when I saw that....yum Hee hee. Also, Pyat Pree sufficiently freaked me the F out....

Sam was delightfully geeky in this episode...my favorite part by far.

Thank you for so eloquently saying what I've been trying to but couldn't quite get the words right :drunk: I understand that there is a lot of sex in the books. A lot of that sex also helps us readers really understand certain characters as well (ie. Jaime and Cersei for one). I also understand that the show is on HBO. I'm cool with risque stuff. I'm a HUGE True Blood fangirl. I'm also a fan of Boardwalk Empire. My favorite TV show of ALL TIME is Sex and the City. HBO rocks because they don't have to deal with the censorship that other TV networks have to. That being said, it is my opinion (just my opinion!- don't yell at me!) that a lot of the sex scenes are overshadowing other very important events and plot lines. When I was at home visiting my parents for Easter last week, I watched "The Night Lands" at their house just because that's where I happened to beat that time. Needless to say there were lots of super awkward moments with my mom sitting next to me! Idk...I'm only 25 and I teach high school. Maybe having to yell at those dang kids for talking about inappropriate stuff has pushed me into premature prudish-ness!

Again, like I just said...I'm only on my 2nd read of the books. Halfway through AGOT to be specific. The series is very long and complicated. It's near impossible to remember everything after only reading each book once.

Yes! Thank you! Why did we need to see Theon banging some rando in the bowels of a ship? Now please people, don't snap on me and correct me if I'm wrong because I'm only on my 2nd read-through of the books, but the only times I remember Theon in a remotely sexual situation are when he first sees Asha and she quite politely shuts him down, and in ADWD when Ramsay forces him on Jeyne/Fake Arya. I feel bad for Alfie Allen because he feel like sex scenes are all he does!

A few things... The direwolves look great. Real or not (I think they're real...?), they LOOK real A little disappointed in the fact that Mel and Stannis are all of a sudden in a sexual relationship....what's the point in this, besides making the series even more racy... Disappointed in the very limited Daenerys screen-time over the past two episodes Why is Asha "Yara" now? Grrrrrrr Otherwise, I loved the episode, especially the Cersei/Tyrion banter..
